There are plenty of threads on LST here. But its plain and simple you just grab the tallest stem, starting with the tip and tie it down. Soon you will end up with multiple tie downs. You should end up with a canopy, bushy plant (a plus for many). My plants currently have about 7 tie downs a piece.
Here is a nother pic of my work in progress. I decided after making holes, and using paper clips I would instead use a pice of wood between all my plants. Worked out better because they were growing pretty good. Now they are spred out over 16 feet wide.
Also plan to cover them with chicken wire and close the top with chicken wire as well. Also want to take a ADT home security home magnet and rig it to my box. lol
So here we are today.
I have ran out of room and can not properly do anymore LST. Although i do feel I have made them bushier and hope that is a plus. I wish I had more room to lst 360 degrees. All my plants are growing away from the fence to get more light.
I have 1/6 plants that is already showing little buds building up and another building up. The other 4 are still streching and have showed preflower. This is my first grow so its all pretty new to me.
I am still feeding them the Veg nutes from GH using their chart.
Will this cause any problems since two are showing little bud build up? I should have my flowering nutes from GH in two days. Also,
Can I start the flowering feeding on all my plants if only two are showing little bud build up? I am growing outdoor in N. CA
Better late than never. Check out this wire fence thing I made. The top opens up like a chest for easy access. Also going to rig an ADT (home alarm) sensor so it goes off when the top is raised.
This should give me enough time to slide in the clip, cock, and aim.
Officially into my flowering stage. Just gave them their first taste of the nutes.
Ill post pics next week. I can say now my plants are exactly where I want them to be and accomodated for them just enough. Cant wait to fill up my space with buds.
