what kind of strains you guys gonna run around here? Im thinking im gonna go with a NL x bigbud hybrid... low odor is kinda a priority. Also wondering what success people have had with putting germed seeds outside without any indoor veg. What size do the plants get too if they grow from seed outdoors? i know pests, cold weather and wild animals are all obsticles for seedlings... but for the ones that survive how well do they grow? i know its all relative to strain but im just wondering ballpark.

That strain sounds pretty good where are you getting the beans? If i was going to start them outside i would make sure they don't take to long to flower b.c. your going to want to wait until last frost when it really warms up and who knows when that is seeing how we might get snow this week.

Hey that's the same strain me and my buddy ordered from attitude I really hope they do good this season got quite a bit of time and money invested this year between seed, soil, nutes, grow bags, and insecticide my pockets are considerably lighter but its a small price to pay in the grand scheme of things

getting them from attitude. World of Seeds medi collection. i grew their Widow x BigBud and was impressed so i thought id try another strain. Ive never grown outside before and realize i am behind the 8ball here not having plants already vegged... i have a few strains entering their 3rd week of veg indoors at the moment but idk if i would want to bring them outside. So im really just wondering if these plants will reach maturity if planted from seed outdoors in NE... if the answer is flat out no then i might go with a bunch of auto flowers... i just wanna grow something outside but i dont have the room to veg anything inside.

You're fine to go from seed as long as they don't get eaten. Try to plant away from dear and piss around the area to keep critters away. They don't go into flower until the very end of July up here so it will veg from when you plant (May 21st to avoid frost) until then...10 weeks veg... then anywhere from 9-11 weeks before first frost depending on this particular year. Lots of good hybrids will grow very well here ;)

I got my seeds last week: Barney Farm LSD,Dutch Passion Durban Poison, A free Exodus Cheese( any know this strain?) and a free Auto... umm Blueberry I think? Starting LSD/Durban within the week under 4ft flouros , moving to pots outside mid-end of May, then prolly in the ground begining-mid june- well thats the plan. The Auto will get seeded right in a 5 gal appx a month before summer equinox to take advantage of the most light, hopefully I can get some Auto Assasin and Russian Rocket Fuel by then. Wishing us all a sunny summer, dry autumn, and a late frost....

If they survive they will become trees. taller than you i had to consistently lower the height of my lsd becaus eit was simply way to fucking tall.

for strains this season ive got: Cheese, western winds, NL(10), some free haze seed from attitude and a few bag seed from around here

How's everybody growing there buds outside this year? What kind of soil, nutes, strains, pots or digging wholesale etc.? I haven't really fully planned out everything I'm a procrastanator i think I'm just gonna dig some holes get some good soil fill it up and start them outside cuz I won't be able to get the plants down to the spot concealed I don't think. Prob grab some FF nutes maybe some critical + nl and couple other strains. I will prob check it 2 or 3 times a week if I can I'm a busy person. Maybe setup some self watering thing for.the plants. Let mother nature work its magic.

Im going to dig my holes now. I will be filling them with a mixture of perlite, lime, miracle grow(toward the bottom), and some ocean forest. Most will be a month old when they go out, some will be a few weeks. Ill be visiting maybe once a week, i live in a semi-close proximity to the plot so i avoid detection.....thinking about using a gravity drip system. As far as any thing else goes i spray it with BT and let nature do its thing

im gonna sprout the seeds in quickrooters and veg em for a day or two... that way a party cup will be all it takes to protect each seedling, and it wont take up much room indoors. For planting, the soil in my area isnt too bad pretty not any clay at all and no sand... im gonna dig 3x3 holes and mix in a good amount of perlite, pete, lime, and guanos. My plan is to let them do their thing in the soil while they veg and once i see buds starting im gonna start using foxfarms bigbloom. when you guys grow outdoors do you get the same random deficiencies you get with an indoor grow? or is there less of the cal/mg and other micro nute issues?

Depends how the soil is and what other things are growing near it, i know pine trees or spruce trees give off an acid to the ground around it. Most of the time its better in regular dirt i feel
