Attack comes after ISIS called for 'month of hurt' during Ramadan

An audio recording released by ISIS spokseman Abu Mohammed al Adnani called on supporters to launch attacks in the USA and Europe.

Ramadan, the Islamic Holy Month, started last week and marks a month of fasting for Muslims.

Al-Adnani called on fanatics to "terrorise [people] so the neighbour fears his neighbour", in the group's most strident call for attacks yet.

He said: "The smallest action you do in the heart of their land is dearer to us than the largest action by us, and more effective and more damaging to them.

"And if one of you wishes and tries hard to reach the Islamic State, then one of us wishes to be in your place to hurt the Crusaders day and night without sleeping, and terrorise them so that the neighbour fears his neighbour."

Yet Average Joe Citizen who fucked up and got a possession of a controlled substance felony conviction at 18 years old can't fucking legally purchase a firearm for the rest of their lives in a lot of states unless they receive a pardon from the POTUS or the Governor of the state. That is how fucked up shit is.

The Muslims of the world need to take action to undermine the ideology of their facist brothers or the murders will continue. You can't totally defeat these people with drone strikes, you have to negate their sick ideology.

CAIR was quick to denigrate the actions of this madman but that doesn't go far enough. They need to join the fight but are probably too afraid for their own lives.

But the way I see it we already have a genocidal religion in America why take more? Especially fighting aged men who don't care if ISIS wins and controls their homeland. I'm cool with women and children but most immigrants are fighting aged men.

So take ISIS out of it then, It's confirmed today that he WAS a devout Muslim. Hopefully his father meant it had nothing to do with the mainstream Muslim religion and that he didn't consider his son a Muslim b/c the son was perverting the religion. IDK, but I can't believe you are arguing that this man didn't gun these people down in the name of an ideology and not solely on the idea that he was a whack job. (again, the other "crazy" mass shooters in the U.S.weren't affiliated with any group, they were just plain nuts)

People become indoctrinated into all sorts of religions and cults.

He was crazy. Nut jobs are the real enemy.

To those who say we need gun control, there are already sufficient laws in place concerning acceptable behavior. As you can see laws do not protect you from those who don't follow them.

A locked door just keeps honest people out.

Sort of true but we can make a law to prevent irresponsible gun ownership. I think we should all have to take a mandatory gun safety course to own a firearm nothing too big but like a hunter safety course most everything I learned about gun safety was from the mandatory hunter safety course.

It's just a little irresponsible to arm every idiot with a gun if they can't pass a simple firearm safety course they should not have a gun. But everyone should be able to own a firearm I love my AK I can drop trees with it just not really big hardwood trees. Lol, This big oak must have took 500 rounds. Lol
