#Marshydro FC 8000 Unboxing and setup

Hey there RIU. Received a new 5x5 tent and FC 8000 and it's time set it up. The FC 8000 is an 8 bar LED with 800 watts of power. Let's take a look at what's in the boxes.

This 5x5 went up in less than an hour and done by myself. It's constructed well with a nice flap over the zipper to prevent light leaks.

Next came the light. The FC 8000 does not come assembled but is super easy to set up. 2 bolts per bar and an octicable to plug into each bar.

As you can see the assembly was very easy. Light is all assembled and mounted.

Here are the readings I got on full power and minimal power.

The build quality of this light is very good. It went together easy and should do a fantastic job in the 5x5 space. Thanks for a quality product @MarsHydrofactory. This product can be found here for those looking to purchase.

Nice. Do you have a pic of the flap that goes over the zipper?

Did you buy this? Or did they send this to you to do this? Just curious. I’m in the market and I’m looking for non biased reviews.

This was sent to me to show, I did not purchase it. As for a non biased review I am afraid I cant give you one at this point about anything more than is in this unboxing thread. As you can see I just received it. Now my information will be honest and show all whether it's good or bad but really the plants in the review will be what will show people if this works, not my opinions.

I previously did a grow under the FC 6500 so If you are truly interested in viewing how these lights do that would be someplace to look. There will be plants growing under this new light for the next few months and you can see this light perform as the plants grow. That is the best review I can do, one where you see it work and judge for yourself.

Sure, the flap looks like this. Much better the the open zipper design I had previously.

Hell ya. That's what I'm talking about. The only complaint with my 2x4 is that it doesn't have the zipper flaps.

And damn, those are some quality pics man, but it takes like 5 minutes to load the page on my slow Internet,

I agree, first tent I have gotten with that flap added. It's a small detail but a really great idea.

Mine could use some starch or viagra across the bottom of perhaps I’m suppose to iron once a week.

I’m interested in a light. I want one light big enough for my 4x4. Right now I have two smaller ones. I just got a sweet deal on a light, but who knows how long this will last.

I would think this light is a bit of overkill in a 4x4 but the FC 6500 does great in that space. Here is a link to the unboxing I did for that light with some par readings. It certainly produced some nice bud IMO.

FC4800 for a 4x4... I have one in a 3x3 and it's great in there...

I would thing the 4800 would do it. I loved the 6500 as I had it below full power and I am thinking it would last longer not in full blast. I could be wrong.
