Mars II 900 Canopy Distance Recommendation .

I recently purchased a Mars II 900 to experiment with after realizing that I am going to have a heat issue this summer with my T5 VHO lights.

Since I don't have a PAR meter yet I was hoping for some advice from you Mars users, or anyone, on canopy distance from the light. Mars recommends 24" to 30" but...

I currently have the light at 24" over 4 seedlings that just sprouted yesterday. The light is on the grow setting only. I don't want to fry my little ladies so any help is appreciated.

I have already decided to do a DIY LED, and have placed an order with King Brite.

Thank you Growmau5 for the great, understandable, and right length YouTube videos.

18-24 seems good for me, i have a couple reflector 48s... I heard you want to keep some distance to allow the colors to mix. I have also seen on youtube the tops bleach out from being too close.

Distance from the trashcan???...................................best to ask @REALSTYLES
I saw his post earlier and thought the same thing lol No hate towards you @NM High Desert I just had some fail and they didn't fix them they wanted me to and you get what you pay for good luck. Just make sure you keep it cool or it's gonna fail. My first Mars light to fail was the Mars II 900 and this is what I did to it
