It only draws 120-130 watt from the wall and it's not especially efficient.
With CFL it can handle some more.
But that's talking about non-autos.
Autos are different so you'd have to experiment.
watt for watt, you would be better off with ANY modern light vs a mars led light. Literally, your CFLs are more efficient and far better at growing plants. If you can't afford a real LED - don't ever waste your money on a cheap one. You can grow 15 plants with your led, or one, but your yield will be garbage anyway you look at it. All Chinese lights are exactly the same. I strongly reccomend you spend the money on an average HPS, a T5, or CFLs and not waste anybody's time or a good seed. If you can drop $500 or more consider a DIY led. If you can drop 700 or more and buy a real COB fixture (not what MARS crap is calling a COB. A vero29 or CXB3590, or similar) you can buy an LED. Those are my thoughts, from experience
they fall for the marketing and the paid grow journals (or free light journals) and don't realize the numbers are all completely made up. Literally they pay people to pretend to be females with western names and troll forms befriending lonely or idiotic younger males
Everyone else just assumes the light is great or is trying to subconsciously justify wasting such a substantial amount of time/money so they post positive things that may be moderate or even extreme exaggerations

Oh wow I am a novice and only been on this forum 3 days right so now I have a problem I have six seeds germinating and can see tap root of all I have the mars hrdro 300 watt which sounds useless now a blue 150 watt cfl and a red one 150 watt I clearly need to order a mother light watt can I get to help for 100 to 150 without ir being hps would like to spend more but funds are limited

why not HPS? I'm confused why you want a system from worst to best (for your budget)
sell your mars to somebody that doesn't know better and you hate. You can use it for a little while - but get away from it as soon as you can
finding a used HPS system may be your best choice, however that depends on your setup and space. That discussion belongs on the newbies forum probably. We can't ascertain the variables specific to your grow, and very basic How-to and tutorials will cover 95% of basic questions

MarsHydro 600w. First experience with led. Picked it up from the pawnshop next to nothing. Been working awesome so far for vegging but i dont see it being great too much longer. Day 10

Ok so I misled you. It is only consuming atmost 280w. No growbox or pretty shiny stuff just light, fan and correct temps. Im trashing these plants just wanted to test the cheap light i bought for $35
