Marijuana Withdrawl = Strange Dreams

Has anyone ever experienced more vivid and realistic dreams when you withdrawl from smoking weed. I've stopped smoking for ten days so far and I started feeling withdrawl symtoms after day two. I have a hard time falling asleep but as soon as I fall asleep I begin dreaming. I usally sleep about nine hours and I experience about five totally different dreams a night. I can usally remember them quite well and I can usally recall them until I experence another one.

I know what ur saying man. I haven't blazed for 2 days and its been weird. Like I'm totally sober and ill be watching some tv then my mind starts tripping, kind of like i'm real tired, and I have a short attention span and memory. Anyone else experience this once they quit smoking for a couple days? Ive been smoking for about 5 years now daily. I heard once you quit blazing you can have psychosis for a week or some shit.

And about the dreams I know what you mean, I woke up last night turned off my tv and went into the same dream after once I fell asleep.

Dudes i have the most intense dreams when i go to sleep after burning. For example last night i had a dream that hopefully comes true, it was me and two really cute girls hitting it off and i think it ended at my house with them in bed.... Im hoping it was a pre determined dream haha

Seriously? Get the fuck out of here. There ARE withdrawal symptoms. I've experienced them myself every time I take a few weeks off from smoking.

Hard time sleeping, sweaty ass back when I do sleep, lack of appetite, boredom.

Only happens when I stop smoking. And those symptoms happen every single time for me.

yeah when i never smoked weed i used to be able to lucid dream and remember all of my dreams in a night, ever since i smoked i can't remember my dreams its really weird because I used to look for a lot of guidance and stuff in my dreams and now i don't have them:(

You hit the nail on the head! That describes me exactly when I'm forced to dry out.

Last about a week and a half, sometimes two.

I completely agree man. The first 2-3 days I can't control my body temperature. I go from goosebumps to sweating vile smelling sweat in seconds. Back and forth all day / night. Zero appetite (although this is one of the many medical reasons why I smoke). Frequent headaches of random duration also happen for about a week.
As for dreams, I'm pretty sure that they are about the same but I remember them longer after waking if I'm sober. When smoking I'll just wake up all of a sudden like "wtf was I dreaming about" I try to figure it out, but I end up with nothing.

Probably a combo of anxiety / hunger (without interest in food). I get a similar feeling, it's like pissed off butterflies are in there wreaking havok..
Any change in your dreams?

Yep, Yep!

I'll get up in the mornings before work, tell myself I'm not going to smoke until after work, but I get this terrible feeling in my stomach like it's chewing on its self and I cave in and have a bowl just to make it go away.

It's a vicious cycle until I just suffer through it (usually when I run out) and get past the withdrawal symptoms.

my first day back at the new pizza hut these 2 ppl were talking about having crazy ass dreams when they quit smoking lol, This chick was like i have crazy dreams now and i havnt quit. lol she talked about a dream where her hands got cut off and they did a shity job sowing them back on. haaha but yeah i had a few symptoms when i quit for a bit but thats because i smoked from the first day i tried it everyday until i stopped and that wwas only a few months so it went away in like 2 days

When i stopped smoking i lasted about 4 month and thought fk this, it was boring without blazing weed lol. Playing on the xbox360 wasn't the same, watching a dvd wasnt the same... I couldn't keep still and I was forever moving about. After that I thought fk this and rolled a big fat spliff and will never quiet.

When I did though I had all sorts, i kept waking up a lot in the night for no reason what so ever. I never really felt tired, i was grumy, bored, kept dreaming everytime I got my head down, had a nasty taste in my mouth a few days after i stopped.

Weed all the way im affraid.

I share your symptoms, man! Whenever I quit for a while, I got trouble falling asleep, and when I finally do, I get the strangest dreams.

Its kinda fun after a week clean, when you get all awake and clear of mind and stuff... but is funnier to just stay blazed!!! :D
