I was looking at marijuana laws in my state [North Carolina] and it says

"This law mandates that those who possess marijuana are legally required to purchase and affix state-issued stamps onto his or her contraband"

It's not even fully legal and the goverment is already taxing it....come on now

Old law, been in effect since they made it illegal.

Discuss:

When they passed this law you could grow MJ if you showed up with your crop they gave you a tax stamp to grow.

Truth:
The stamps never existed, people came in with their crops and got arrested, look at the history of weed and you'll see. It's a lie and it's a very old law put into place to arrest growers.

THERE IS NO TAX STAMP FOR GROWING MJ.

If you read the second link closely you will se the name DuPont, they invented synthetic fibers (nylon) right after that happened hemp became illegal...coincidence NOT. DuPont is still one of the biggest opponents of keeping it illegal, I guess you know why now.

So basically you showed up with your crop asked for a stamp they said you have no stamp and all this MJ...threw you in jail.
