Marijuana cures warts?

Hello, this is most probably my first post on the forum, I DID do a search and found nothing.

So here goes:

I recently discovered that after a period of heavy smoking the warts on my hands had started to disappear. They had been there for years, been treated with different cremes, acids and cold. I doubt this is just a coincidence.
After some research I found that a few users on our local weed forum had had similar experiences, I even found one on google.

My theory is that, well, cannabis should protect you against tumors by making the infected cells kill themselves. Warts are tiny tumors so it should be logical, right?

Sorry for the spelling, etc, it's 6am, I'm high as fuck and haven't slept yet.

A wart on your skin is from a virus (ever heard of the STD - HPV, aka Genital Warts? Well you have a different strain of HPV on your hands) That's why you can't ever get completely rid of warts. It's possible that weed helped; however, cancer is not a virus (just a cell going crazy genetically) and therefore cannot be compared with a wart. bongsmilie

I've read quite a lot about HPV, so I don't quite agree with you.

Cancer is a/some cell(s) going crazy
A wart is a/some cell(s) going crazy

Cancer is not a virus
A wart is not a virus - a wart is the symptom of a virus. Curing symptoms should be the most common way of fighting a disease?

Correct me if I'm wrong.
Peace and toke.

Indeed, Boneman. Fortunately I haven't experienced genital warts, THAT would be nasty. Don't do a google image search on genital warts, please, I did and lost my appetite for the day.

Does anyone know if hemp oil is actually hemp oil or are THC/CDB active compounds of it?

Yes. The only difference is with cancer it's cells genetically going crazy to the point that they recreate like crazy - then don't die when they should - then spread it to other cells giving them the ability to do this as well (in a nutshell). The only way to end cancer is to kill these cells (chemo) or by removing them.
The wart is forming in response to the virus, but not as out of control as cancerous cells are, so while you can kill the wart with creams, oils, freezing, etc. you don't kill the virus which causes them. Also, once you have a virus, there isn't a cure. It all depends how well your immune system can suppress that virus. Ex: Flu, no matter what you do the only way you can get better is by waiting for your immune system to get a grasp on the virus. Sure you can alleviate some of the symptoms, and eventually your body will "beat" the flu, but it is still there...

So this is my first post on the forum, I'm NOT a regular user but had this exact same experience! Had to be 30 years ago but I had warts on one of my fingers that were frozen, cut, burned and just kept coming back. As a teenager it was horrible, in fact I still have the scar. To make a long story short, one evening I smoked some really strong weed a friend had, next morning almost like a miracle my warts were gone! They came back a few years later, maybe 3 and not being a user I asked my buddy if he could get us high with some of that strong stuff again, his brother thought it was pretty hilarious I was doing it to see if it'd rid me of these warts but agreed and we went down into the basement and all had some. Again, totally worked and they NEVER came back. this was in my teens, I'm now in my 50's. I've googled this many times and haven't found many other accounts of the same experience so I had to sign up and comment on your post. Best regards.

First hand account. I used to work as an iron worker. Rebar pinking all day everyday. First and only time in my life I had a wart. Friend gave me cbd I didn't believe in cbd. Thought it was just a gimmick to legalize mmj. Don't get me wrong I love cannabis. But like anything too good to be true i though it was BS. But I applied the cbd when i remembered. The wart shrank and disappeared in days. I was like wtf!!... Imagine what It can do for ulcers or intestinal issues like diverticulitis or Crohn's, IBS.... Mmj is awesome fk the system.

I coudn't believe it happened either! MJ was just legalized here but NJ haven't figured out how to dispense it yet but this post has me thinking about checking out CBD. Thanks for sharing, seeing others had the same experience makes me feel not so crazy when I tell people.

A piece of duct tape works for many, people...........as a very young kid, my neighbor Louie , hard core boozer, would sit in chair and cut warts off with his pocket knife.....a bloody show it was !
