Manure and Measurements

Getting all set for next year and wondering how much manure per plant if planting into the ground ?

I am planning on dumping em in 125ltr grow bags and making a small bed for them to sit on and let the roots grow through the bottom of the bags.

I was thinking of just digging in a handfull under each plant and let that rot in over the winter and use some bio bloom for an extra boost during bloom.

Any opinions ?

You're right it does depend on what stage of decomposition it is in. I've used leeched stuff for my mushroom grows in the past and for the most part it just had a mild earthy/musty smell to it.

With that amount of soil you can probably be more generous. Is this fresh stuff you procured yourself or something you bought in a bag?

If your manure is composted, I would go at least 20% if you're in the ground. Last season my soil mix was at least 30% composted manure in every hole without a single problem (with soil, that is)
I just hope I can get my hands on that much manure again this year!

God luck,

I would add some alfalfa, some Blackstrap molasses and some horse manure and really get the micro organisms going. But as far as how much to put in with your plants depends on which manure you are using. I use horse manure and I have put about 2 1/2 gallons of horse manure in my 5 gallon bucket along with a few handfuls of chicken manure also and my plant flourished from veg to flower. All I did was water it and it was so green the hole time and I have never tasted such tasty buds before. I garrentee if I would of put in bat Guana in at the end then the plant would of taken off but hey I'm not complaining. Good luck.
