Manifold training advice.

When I do my first topping down to the 3rd node, after growing 6 nodes, do i remove vegetation below the 3rd node the same day or do i wait a few days to defoliate vegetation below the 3rd node?

Why would you defoliate a plant that young and small the leaves are the life of the plant

Only on the 3rd id consider it small and young. Nothing wrong with topping on the 3-4 node but I'm confused why you would defoliate

Do some research he said 6th node which isn’t young. I go from 6 to 4 and remove everything else OP

I top successful around 6-7 in, if your in veg and this isn't an auto it should heal

So the plant can concentrate all its energy into the 3rd node where new main stems will be growing.

I do 4th for more height when watering etc

These are my plants I plan to manifold. 4 sativas in a 4'x2' grow tent. my new lights should be coming within 30 days.

Yes I was reading this. So I'm going to assume the 1st topping and removing lower grow is being done in one day, instead of waiting for the plant to recover from topping then removing lower growth after 3-4 days after topping?

I do it either way. I Usually strip everything at once and just get it over with. Plant will stall for a few days.

You can I guess, but I kept mine. They are about to go tho after 3 weeks of hangin around.
I checked out the same article on cocoforcannabis, but I went a slightly different route.
4-way instead of 2-way. Already did my 1st topping on all 4 sides.

You see how topping on the 3rd node didn’t leave much room to water? I would go 4 at the min. Just for more room.
