Hey guys, once again I apologize for the lack of updates. I was planning on harvesting my plants on the 10th week but I had trouble keeping up with my busy schedule plus the plants are not situated in my house.

I harvested the two champs a couple of days ago, on its 8th week. The buds were already glistening with trichomes and smell really fruity.

The third plant is a runt and is also flowering, I situated it outdoors after harvesting the two champs and will be harvesting this runt by end of June. I will update you guys on this plant.

I intended this journal to end with a bang (huge harvest) but so many problems came along, I had to compromise. I wasnt able to get the 400w.

Anyway, I am happy with my harvest. I am currently drying them and I can't wait to cure it and smoke it!

I smoked them with my friends and the high was sensational!

First let me start with the smell of the well-cured buds. They smell like GREEN MANGOES! I couldn't take my nose off of them! After grinding it, I would open up the grinder and let my friends smell the ground-up buds and they would all go crazy about how strong the smell was!

The taste of the smoke is also as good as its smell. Sweet and spicy.

I'm so pleased with the Satori, I will grow it again soon and this time I will get the 400W hps.

The perfect cure:

I love it. I still have some and it never fails to blow my mind. The terpenes are so strong on this one. Even if I dont smoke everyday, I still smell the jar everyday :)

You're right Hogg! I couldn't keep them any longer due to security reasons. I should've kept them growing until the 10th week. I plan to grow SATORI again sometime this month and this time, I will flower them for 10 weeks.

nice thread. i have some satori approaching the end of week 11. i also got a twin in my batch. my little one died as well. i ended up with 4 females out of 7 seeds. it's nice to see you liked the smoke even at 8 weeks. i never smoked it but based on the grow and what people report i'm excited. i noticed a lot of satori growers reporting the twin thing and also purpling of the leaves in mid flower, i experienced both. did your leaves turn purple or reddish at any point? also i got a lot of weird branching on 2 of them. the branches grew straight out and did not point upward until the 5th or so week of flower so these two plants look way retarded but otherwise healthy. that sucks that you had to pull them early like that but glad to hear it turned out well. i also agree 100% on the heat resistance factor. my ladies got put through some temperature hell and held their own very well. i will be looking forward to following the next batch.

Oh my it's been a while. I have to admit that my satori grow didnt turn out as I expected. However I enjoyed smoking the little yield the plant has offered. Im itching to grow again and hopefully this time, with experience, I can do better than my previous grow. I plan to grow purple widow from de sjaaman. I dont know when to begin though because my work demands a lot of my time. A little planning is all it takes and then I shall take off again.
