Male Stamen!!!!

first off, are male stamen dubbed "bananas"? they surely look like damn bananas!! it wouldn't be much concern except i do not now the truth behind them. do the male stamen contain pollen and can they essentially seed my crop? i have seen these on my 1st grow, and i did end up with a few seeds that time. mostly preemies, only 1 worth growing. and i wouldn't have any concern except i see them when i grow bagseeds and almost expect it. not when i pay $100 a 10 pack. so, it either has to do with me, possibly stressing the plant. OR!!! is it genetics? OR!!!!!! is this some shit that happens from time to time with no reasoning. everything happens for a reason, right? so i dont think its #3. why are these damn things on my plants? not all of them. just a few. and i do go and work in my garden from time to time with the lights off and use a headband with green LEDs on it. i always thought the green LED was 100% safe to use while the lights are out? so, any thoughts and insight on thes damn bananas????

yes, male stamen contain pollen, pretty much the same as humans, the males contain sperm which inpregnate the women folk..

what strains from what breeder are you seeing stamens on??

They will seed all your bitches. Your headlamp is fine. What have you done to the plants that could cause stress? Even breaking a branch can cause a hermie.

no it cant!!!! breaking a branch can not cause hermies. i highly disagree on that one. ive broken huge branches before taped it back up and went on with flowering a hermie free plant. can you please explain in full detail why you think this?

and the strains are TGA gear!!!! Plushberry, i see them for sure, not sure if they are on the Jack The Ripper or Space Bomb. needs further investigating. but im very surprised to see any from any of his gear as i wass under the impression these were caused from genetics and not stress. i trust your opinions racerboy. so im very disappointed right now.

anyways, im kinda disappointed to see them even if it was just 1.

ive had plushberry do the same thing never seeded my crop maybe they were sterile

These can be caused by a number of things but, my best guess is a light leak or you interrupting the cycle going in and out of the room when the lights are off. Your head light may be fine but when you open the door to come in or out this can cause damage.

whats up with all the hermie rumors going on with the plushberry, can anyone confirm this? I should be getting my pack tomorrow but am now worried about sperming my crop.

yeah....i wouldn't sweat a few nanners bro.....there is a big difference between a few late flower nanners, and stamen that show at week three or four......those are the bastards you have to look out for.

Its is fine to visit the grow room with a headlamp (green or otherwise) for a few minutes during lights out. But it is the long stretches of light that cause hermies in sensitive plants.

There are plenty of hermie sensitive plants that come from all breeders genetics. Like nugbuckets said don't worry so much about a few late naners, its the bunches at 3-6 weeks you have to watch out for. Those plants are best let go.

had them at 28 days on a plush. nothing on a good amount of other plants. the plant was fire and vigor tho. did not return after removed.

Im sorry if this offended anyone. Im still only in my 2nd year of growing my self. I remember in the beginning, i did have some late flowers on my first couple plants too. Thing is, i know Sub despises hermie prone plants, and as such spends a good deal of time avoiding them.

What i will say is every plant is different. Seems like most of the growing world is in love with heavy indicas. So just because one group of plants doesnt get stressed out with something, doesn't mean that the other side of the world is the same. Subs sativa dom crosses kick ass, and when you get the hang of how they grow, what they like, what they dont like, i feel like there is no breeder out there that does what TGA does.

With that said, i mean no harm or offense to anyone. I mean to send positive energy. Live Love Friends
