Male plant affecting the gender of other plants?

Hello!
:eyesmoke:
I am having a discussion with my uncle about the removal of male plants in your garden. I have done my fair amount of reading in the forums, and i know that you want to remove a male plant because it will pollinate the females and give them seeds. He is telling me that the REASON you remove male plants is because a bug can get onto the male plant, and then get onto another plant (undecided sex), and then since the bug touched the male plant, it will turn the rest of your plants male. I am almost certain that male plants can not affect the gender of the other plants (what good would this be biologically?). Can you guys set one of us straight?

Haahahaa.....no way. You are correct sir.....if the baby powder from the males ballsacks touches those two white hairs (pistils)...little babies everywhere....

Holy Shit that was funny!!!!! I have heard some shit over years, but that may be the funniest shit I've heard yet. GrowinDad is right though, pollination can happen by bugs landing on ur girls after they have landed on a sprouting male, but it can't change the sex of the plant.

Whatever ur Uncle is smoking, I want some cuz it most be some good shit :eyesmoke::eyesmoke: LLS

A rubber hammer and some glass nails will do the trick.
