Hello!
I am having a discussion with my uncle about the removal of male plants in your garden. I have done my fair amount of reading in the forums, and i know that you want to remove a male plant because it will pollinate the females and give them seeds. He is telling me that the REASON you remove male plants is because a bug can get onto the male plant, and then get onto another plant (undecided sex), and then since the bug touched the male plant, it will turn the rest of your plants male. I am almost certain that male plants can not affect the gender of the other plants (what good would this be biologically?). Can you guys set one of us straight?
Thanks!
