Male parts on a large Cola? See Pics

This is a copy of a post I put on the "Newbie" forum so I can get more feedback. Yes, I'm a first timer. And I've not seen this before, these look like bananas on my colas (see below). I have removed the males, so no pollinating took place. Is this a normal occurrence or not? I remember in "the old days" that people said smoking banana skin :spew:would get you high (but it certainly didn't  ). I'm probably blowing this way out of proportion, but I'm close to harvest (30 days or so) and I don't want to lose my girls to some kind of malady:cry:. I've looked at some flower pics and haven't run across this. Come on you pros, don't let this former Devil-Dog down, give me direction, please. :joint::eyesmoke:bongsmilie:blsmoke::leaf::weed:

I've had 1 post on the other forum that said to clip them. But have they already opened up to spew pollen? There are no light leaks as this is a hidden room with no light what-so-ever coming in. This plant has always been the faster grower (more than twice the height of the other 2 females). It stretched a lot too. It's about 4.5 feet tall were as the other girls are about 2 feet tall. I put them into 12/12 after about 45 days of veg. So they are about 3.5 months old. Since I have a fan on them, do you think they have already pollinated the other girls' flowers? And, can any of you come up with anything positive about this occurrence. And lastly, will there be spore in the room I'll have to worry about on my next grow? Thanks again all. Good input already.

If there are other feamales in the room the odds are very high that they got pollenated.

The next grow. Thats a good question. Clean the hell out of it.

This grow, being my first, I decided to go with some good green bud bagseed.
So I don't know if I want to use this crop for propagating the strain. If I understand correctly, femm seeds take the genes from the original stock and reproduces the strain. Am I correct? And is that a good thing to do with bagseed (even though it was good smoke)?

Well, I haven't smoked any yet, but the seeds came from good green-bud bagseed. So I'm looking forward to at least some decent herb. And yes, I had planned on buying seed for my next grow, after I'm comfortable in my abilities...sadly, this may put a hold on the buying seeds, at least until I clean the room. If I get some seed from this guy/girl, will 90% of my next grow be female plants, or will I get more hermies?

the reason the plant hermii on you is because you grew her to long
i would think they would be femm seeds with no hermii

People say you are gonna get females, I call it a hermi train, Imho fem seeds are the break down of cannabis breeding. It's simply laziness of people not wanting to look for a good mother and do cloning.

i had thread a while back 'DO YOU LIKE CLONE OR SEED AND WHY'....i think a seed plant has more viger than clone..seed plants grow bigger..their are pros and con for each ...and take the sex thing out for seed makes a pro and one less con ...for indoors i like clones ..outside i like seed plants

Thanks for the input people. I still feel like I've been kicked in the gut with this problem coming up. Timing wise, I didn't think I grew them too long. The total time from germination to now is only 3 1/2 months and only 8 weeks into 12/12, and this "nanner" problem started 2 weeks ago, I just thought it was more "pretty color" coming from my girl. The little trichomes are still all clear with none starting to cloud up. Isn't that the way you're supposed to tell when to harvest?
