Male or female

This is my first time growing regular seeds where I somewhat know what im doing. This is also my first time growing a pretty unrefined landrace strain.

I know its way too early to actually tell but Im really suspicious right now of these VERY tall seeds. Then I have 3 seeds that are all like 1/5 the size of the tall ones that I suspect to be females.

Now can seeds have huge differences coming from the same strain of a landrace?

There is this general idea that males are taller than females, but I need to know how much taller? Could a female be taller than a male or is that very rare? Also do males grow faster in veg than females? These are the fastest growing plants Ive ever seen and it just doesnt seem right.

You need waaaay more light than you have for one and no one can tell the sex yet. They are stretching too much.

Doesn't look like you have adequate lighting, which could be the cause of the stretch. Which lighting are you using? It is too early to be able to determine the sex, as this can only be done once preflowers begin to show.

They are stretching because you lack light. What kind of light do you have? whatever it is it needs to be closer.

You guys dont seem to understand how this strain works.... It grows more than 15feet tall in some cases, males can get even taller. The lights are actually very close right now and they are growing at a rapid rate. The lights are four 23watt cfls, 6500k. This is more than enought light at this stage. If I move the lights any closer there is a very high chance the plants will wrap their leaves around the lights and get completely burned...

See the 3 small seeds??? those were started at the exact same time as the stretchers and this is why I made this post. It doesnt make any sense, they are in the same dirt, same water, same light, same strain yet they do not stretch at all and also grow at the normal pace im used to plants growing....

Meanwhile the stretchers are growing insanely fast, they arent even stretching so much any more. Just every morning I go to check on them they are growing exponentially faster...

The lights are not the issue.

How close are your 23w cfls exactly? They look super leggy. The little ones might just be runts of the liter while the rest are growing normally just stretching a ton. I had two runts this go around my self. Via training I eventually evened the canopy out.

We are proud of the Purpurea Ticinensis because it is a Swiss Ursorte and has a low natural panorama THC value. It is specifically designed as an ornamental plant or because of her incredible smell and for the production of essential oils.

You don't seem to understand....

You said "This is my first time growing regular seeds where I somewhat know what im doing."

Then multiple people told you what your issue is. Landrace, indica, sativa, hybrid... doesn't matter, they shouldn't be that tall and spindly. You dont have enough light.

But you know better, good luck with your shitty plants and attitude.

How's the seedbank going...lol:dunce:

The 3 in front that JUST sprouted?
see I knew people were thinking that!!! Those were started at the same time as the tall ones. the one in the back is a feminized seed.

the one stuck in the seed, and the one next to it are the same strain.

BULL SHIT That "Stuck" one's been sitting there for close to a week then. But "What Ever" your going to have some nice plants. Just reads that they don't smoke well. Don't waste money on lights. There just ornamentals.
