Male or Female

Well i'm not a newbie at growing plants but this is my first from seed grow and it so so much more satisfying than getting rooted cuttings from friends. But I have a problem I want to get rid of the males asap and I think this might be one. They are Feminized AK-48 from Nirvana only 5 days into flowering under my new 1500 watt hps and 10 hundred watt equivalent CFL's.

Sold, Ill hack it down and feed it to the rabbit. He loves the hell outta mj leaves.

I clone and buy seeds. dont have time or space to breed

see feminized seeds are not always 100% female !

I fully agree growing for seed sucks I had a friend that made a killing doing it, but he lived in Humboldt.

thats fine ...i was just pointing out that unless you want seeds, or want to breed them... then there is no need to kill it...lol

speaking of killing male plants... i had a few along time ago and i wanted to see how much abuse they could take... so i litterally stomped the shit out of them and they still bounced back??? ...pissed me off!.... so i chopped them up...haha

I wont waste my money on fem seeds anymore first time I ever bought them, and the last.

My buddy waters them with straight vinegar till runoff. They dry out in two days and he burns them in the wood stove. I don't dare risk putting them in the trash, you never know who is digging through your trash when 1/2 of America doesn't have jobs. The garbage disposal works very well if you don't have animals haha.

how many females did you get?

Chop that mofo! I had a herm that I let go and my next grow I got seeds like crazy. Must have infected my lights, fans, carpet...etc. never again!!!!

I cut down 4 of 7 tonight because of the same little f'ing balls on the plant 3 of the seeds never sprouted. All in all in a round about way I paid $16.66 per fem seed when I remove the males, and the ones that never sprouted. I paid $50.00 for ten seeds with shipping. Expensive little bastards now, lol

sure they are not regular seeds...that sucks!

well you could take cuttings of the females...then your guaranteed that all clones will be females next round.
that way you can get a few more harvests of that strain.
so really you can get your money's worth out of the initial investment... not a total loss.
