making butter

So's, my girls have another few weeks to go and since its my first time, I want to utilize all of the plant that I can. What part of the plant should I use to make it?
 
Just a word of warning. You can make butter that is too strong. The better the buds you use the more potent the butter. I made a batch of butter once with all prime buds. Baked up a batch of choc chip cookies. They were awesome, but a little too awesome. I had never be so stoned in my life. One or two cookies rocked me, while with a previous batch that would just be a light buzz. Maybe this is just common sense, but thought I would mention it.

Thanks for letting me know. I don't know how potent it is, guess I better smoke before making the butter to see :)

ya dude it does fuck you up. lol. I also made 2 sticks of butter with a huge amount of leaves/stems then made cookies and one cookie really packed a punched! And I smoke a lot.
 
I wouldn't use the buds to make the butter, leave that for smoking. Use the leaves for the butter and always eat small to test out how powerful your mix. It usually takes about a half hour for the buzz to catch up with you, so don't over eat when you don't feel an immediate high. Also the buzz is more of a body high than smoking, and it is a very nice high. Have fun! :)
