Making buds more dense

Hi guys,

Was wondering any tips to make my buds denser.

Got 5 barneys blue cheese here and they have packed on a lot of weight but they're not as dense as I'd have expected.

4 out of the 5 plants have quite airy top colas

What do you guys do to thicken them up?

atami bloombastic, you need to use it earlier though, i don't know if anything will help them fatten up now, maybe next time though

I have heard a lot about that cha Ching.

I'm only using ionic at the minute so there is definitely room for improvement

This baby is just starting it's 8th week on 12/12
 
No one product is going to be a magic bullet for your grow. Some (at least I hope only some) use products and they don't even know what they do or why they are using them.

It comes down to providing the right environment/factors for the plant. Growth is limited by the most limiting factor, understand what these are (how plants actually work).

Excess heat will also cause stretch and lead to airy buds.
 
I agree, definitely control the environment of the room, heat being a large factor, but I have a buddy that swears by silica blast or anything with silica in it. I personally like my buds in between,not too fluffy but not too dense either. But hey to each its own.
 
It's barneys blue cheese, I'm using a standard 600w hps in a 1.2 tent

Maybe the bulb needs replacing???

Temps have never gone over 30 degrees Celsius.

pk 13/14 after 5/7 days they swell like no other product i have used if i could not get that it would be overdrive.

If your buds are not dence and hard to the feel then you are not leaveing em long enuf
 
I think it has to do with more than genetics i have done 100's of strains and they all get dence if left the right amount of time,you might just be takeing them down too early wait till they stop crowning rather than the coulour of the pistols.they will get dence after week 6/9 but the last two week are the most important for the bud weight.

How far are the lights away from the plant tops,something like pk 13/14 or overdrive will help make them more dence
