You should have asked the first part to him first.
He's been telling fibs. lol

from the lare site
Medical use" means the acquisition, possession, cultivation, manufacture, use, internal possession, delivery, transfer, or transportation of marihuana or paraphernalia relating to the administration of marihuana to treat or alleviate a registered qualifying patient’s debilitating medical condition or symptoms associated with the debilitating medical condition.
I believe our friend is quoting criminal law here, IMO the only real law that matters :bigjoint:

I hate to sound like a broken record, but don't get caught up in all the political administration (LARA) of this shit. That is a game bought and paid for by politicians, lawyers, doctors, etc. When those clowns come to arrest me with their games, the game will then change ...

mabe so but members of this forum cant ban together to get rid of one bad apple.how can u think they can be unified with other states.little lone unified in our own state .look at all the profiteers and sellouts just in michigan
Do you know how many of the 'profiteers and sellouts' from your state, as you choose to categorize them, are very active in fighting for medicinal cannabis nation-wide? I can not think of many in Michigan that I know of that grow at all, let alone grow enough to help provide medicinal patients with the cannabis they require that are neutral fence riders, or are anti-cannabis. I'm hoping at least you can agree on the point that being fence-riders or anti-cannabis as a medicinal patient or caregiver makes no sense whatsoever.

ill agree on that point .but michigan caregivers and patients can and do grow plenty of meds to take care of michigan we are strong

I disagree. There is an alarming shortage of safe and easily accessible cannabis in Michigan.
I was going to ask about that.. seems to be region specific in terms of the state.. I do not know of any who have a big enough of an operation to help with the Upper Peninsula as we know it. Am sure it's more than a bit difficult up there unless everyone is growing their own. That said, where county-wise do you think there's issues? Some of the caregivers on this forum will drive for hours one direction to ensure that the one in need of meds gets their meds, with no additional type of donation asked to cover time or fuel.

Belle Isle puts on thousands of miles. She is constantly fighting to take care of her patients. The UP has an enormous shortage of meds. We need to travel 8 hours each way. We know lots of patients with PTSD, depression, cancer, chronic pain, crohns, fibromyalgia, and lots of other shit that I can't spell. I'm always online, she is always helping others.

I'm in Kent/Montcalm/Berrian counties mostly. There is marijuana out here however most patients don't grow or go through their caregiver, which are the two safest ways to obtain marijuana. My point was more to that effect/effect [I get those two confused[. Most of us have been part of the mmmp long enough to know the problems patients have finding quality, reliable marijuana. The law itself has limits on growing add in the interpretation of what transfers are allowed and there just aren't enough great caregivers around to take care of all the patients.

Ah ha - north-west of Flint.. am surprised as there's more than a few solid growers out of Muskegon that are caregivers.. and yes, definitely need more caregivers given the current lay of the laws that has to be dealt with at this time.

I think the market in Jackson is flooded with marijuana....meds, not so much. We HAD a distribution system and all kinds of outlets and I still saw a TON of marijuana and a shortage of meds. Until we can transfer from patient to patient to find what we are looking for and have store fronts to showcase the best of the best we're going backward not forward. With all the markets and dispensaries in Jackson amount of tested samples on the shelves an FM tables was minute. Tiny, WEE in fact. I'm all for marijuana and legalization as well as medical marihuana but I see the separation of the two happening in the lab. A lab tested, non-moldy bag of marihuana is medicine-a fat bag of stinky pot that looks fire is weed. both are great and fine by me but if you're talking meds there is a state wide shortage of medicine-period. and a big-ass shortage of people willing to produce medicine. weed growers are all over. power to them both but don't get them twisted up there is a big difference.

What is the conventional wisdom here regarding the use of section 8 provisions to engage in sales with patients who are not connected to a caregiver through the registry?

Okay so let us include the variables start with the allowed 12 plants and a time factor of 3 months , every caregiver out there should already know the cost . Question is , What is the cost to produce one ounce ?
My last grow came out at $6.33 per ounce.
$0.23 per gram.

1.07 gpw.

That's gonna hurt sales, lol.

Don't ask - Don't tell.
It's none of your business.
Most everything is none of your business.
Loose lips sink ships.

What I don't know you can't beat out of me.
Therefore it's none of your business.
I don't need a bio with a picture to enjoy my free range chicken.

^lolwith a stranger pointing out such low operating costs, it makes me wonder if I went into the right business... no wonder patients and caregivers have been under the gun and THEIR medical laws are being tweaked and compromised by lovely politicians... It's that NOBODY WANTS THEM TO MAKE A DIME. Heck, if I knew all CGs were so rich, I woulda sighed my whole family up to be CGs earlier. Screw all your Michigander politics... It's all about what I want bitches!

the conventional wisdom I grew up with says ..."never say the word 'sell' and pot in the same sentence"
and that is good wisdom-that will keep you safe

I would add that if some of the newer ganjaprenuers like this thread says are trying to make a living at it they will soon be aware of how difficult that may be.....openly

wild wild west that was last year-

i think there will be a lot of used equipment on Craigslist in the next couple years.....a lot!

im a carpenter and I do not sell it so I don't really know how people are justifying open sales like you describe
if you are talking about the clubs that is another post--

as far as I am aware it is -->completely illegal to 'sell'
always has been.....always

and per the mich SC ruling most I think know that now.....once again

but their getting ready to bring a new national system online soon eh?

soon I hear mediswipe will be issuing cards for people to 'sell' it and be taxed and tracked for every transaction so I think your answer will manifest ....for us all
they allready have commitments for revenue here and offices getting ready to open huh?

if I were anybody trying to make a living off it I wouldn't be on the Internet talking about it....
we don't have "that" many protections now that they made it illegal to even share with each other for free

what law were you talking about?
.....one where it says we can sell it?

havent heard about that one but please post if you get anymore info...

yes if you have 5 patients you can receive "compensation" to recover your costs from the patient you are registered to...
but you can also be constructive and have 5patients that are CGs to 5 patients that are CGs to5patients....the whole law is fuked up and you know it

dr bob repeats the fact that after the first transfer you are not connected to relive the pts medical condition.....I think if you have enough $$ you can get a lawyer to prove you are....like all the lawyered up clubs are doing jm2c

I prefer the old wisdom -it's safer
i allready saw how many got flushed out the first time thru their misguided interpretations.....the wild wild west is over

except in Detroit ---where it's just begun
you don't see the weed replacing all the crack houses and lowering the violence.....? I do-

detroit will be the new wild wild west .....
they have enough to worry about down there with all the murders...
stay tuned it will be interesting to see how they will keep those gang bangers out of the loop

they are allready setting up shop all over......been down 8mile lately to any of the new clubs with giant big screen HD tv....?
and vape rooms....

I have noticed tho there was an increase in the number of federal agents now in and around Detroit....with all the corruption and stuff I guess when they are done cleaning house in Wayne county they can stick around and see how the marijuana inc thing turns out....they'll be close anywaybongsmilie

they are taking the money out...that was the whole point from the beginning

if everybody has rutabagas ....why would I want to buy your rutabagas?

do they taste better? LOLOL :eyesmoke:I wanna know.....can I get a free taste? oh it's illegal-
