I ran into a N.O.R.M.A.L official at the Park one summer & he was saying to catalogue a Knew strain of cannabis you need to go to some department in New York , and fill out a bunch of paperwork, I was wondering if any breeders , go through any procudure like this to make there strain an official strain.?

lol...

i'm pretty sure the 'NORML' official wasn't shit.

not a breeder but i'm sure that for a new strain to be accepted into the community all you have to do is breed and breed and breed. you need to keep very accurate records of the genetic make up of the plants, and you have to prove to the community the 'strain' is actually new and original..... there's very knowledgeable folks in the bud breeding game who will tell you straight up if its a new breed or not....

Takes a shyyyyt load of Breeding to come up with a steady good strain.
I equate it to playing the lottery. Some people win big the first time they play, some play 20 years before anything substantial, and some play and never win shit.

It's all about the genetic fuck ups. That's where the good stuff is. That's where all the weird THC loaded stuff came from. If your plant has a mutant baby that happens to fit every ones liking then you got a new strain and can make a name.
