making a homemade bho tube. Is there any type of metal i should not use?

Any metal besides stainless or Ti is considered bad. PVC is ok, but not that great...it leaches impurities over time. So one or two time use is fine.

A simplier method is using a PET drink bottle, I use a powerade one. Yes, this gives you full melt! 600ml powerade:3 cans butane.

Oddly enough, food grade PET is butane safe and will not containmate your extract.
-Punch two 2.5mm holes in the cap. 2.5 mm is about the perfect size for the nozzle of the butane can. Also remove the plastic seal thing on the top, you know the blue/black thing on the bottom of the cap...
-fill with green
-spray butane in one hole, other hole is the depressurise the gas and prevent explosion due to pressure.
-unscrew cap, cable tie unbleached coffee filter on. Cut the filter as small as possible.
-pour and purge on pyrex
-done.

*use gloves it hurts when you dont lol...
