Major Power Outage In My area!!!!

So the Shit blacked out thank god I was home I got 4 plants in flower and the grow room.went completely pitch black for about 3 minutes until I ran up there my plants are 3 weeks into flower the puff balls are barely pushing out the white hairs is this gonna cause them to freak out and hermie???there in light now I had to rip out all my mylar and white reflective film off the grow rooms Windows to get daylight from out side.

Hahah No problemo, once I had to put my plants to complete darkness for 2 days and they didn't stress about it at all...

i forgot to turn the power strip on the night before after i had fucked with it. plants went with 4 hours of less light that flowering day. no issues so far. ur good dude. its the constant on and off shit u gotta worry about.

Fuckkkkk yea guys I.got peace of mind now thanks at first I felt like going outside and screaming my heart out lol this is why I need to invest in a generator.

More darkness isn't going to bother them. The worst is when the dark cycle gets interrupted by light.

i was looking into a generator. but i have decided now that gas is 5 bucks a gallon that im gonna put it off for a little while. i need to power 3800 watts with lights and fans and shit all running. so my generator would have to be an 8500 watter to safely handle the load.

u dont have to power up everything. just a light and maybe a fan. all ur trying to do is just get "some"light so they are not in the dark. the power comes back on rather quick...most of the time. i live in an area that has a ton of lightning and i loose power 20+times a year. i have a little Honda genarator that i have no prob going out and starting in my back yard at 3:00am if need be. i run 4000 watts of lights normally but when the gen has to b started...i just use 2 four foot flors and a fan and it does the job perfectly. no hermies...no stressed plants...u only got to give them some light...it dont have to be HID super lighting...just light. good luck

nah i was thinking more along the lines of power saving via generator. but the cost beneficial part went out the window when gas prices skyrocketed.

I've gone through several power outages and never hermied because of it. I had a 3 day outage once that stretched the shit of them, but they made it. Veg plants all flowered, and i lost the strain, but the flowering plants came out ok.
