Major defoliation same nutes?

If my crop is buzzing along great and I decide to really clean them up do I stick with the same ppm nutes even though the plants probably have half the density after the defoliation.

I have not had to cut down the neuts after trimming my plants. But never really thought of it either

Why do you want to defoliate half your leaves?

When I do a large defo in veg, the plants will show some shock for a few days. Because I grow in hydro, I can reduce my ppm easily but I find that it's not really needed.

Doesn't matter if the leaves burn just cut em off
If they're deficient and yellow cut em off
