The first picture mimics the leaves of many of the other leaves on the entire plant(Although not all are burned). This is the one plant of my bag seed that outperformed all of the other plants I began and I was sure it was male, but it actually came out to be female. I seperated it and started working on it with a 400 watt HPS. It is in it's first two weeks of flowering and is 48 inches (4 feet) tall . I did not realize the importance of heat and temperature. A few inches off and you have a major issue. My watering schedule varies. I water when about 1 inch deep in the soil is dry. Then I water. I am using soil for my medium. Well for a few days I was not very attentive to the plant and there was very little ventilation because my A/C unit broke and I have nothing for fresh air. So now it is burned beyond belief. The stem although large, is now beginning to sag at the top from being so weak. Now that I have addressed the bad news. There is some good news. Since I have added a giant fan for ventilation which has only been one day. I have seen a great deal of improvement with new leaves emerging from the burnt ones. My question fellow stoners is this. Is it possible to save this plant and how catostropic are my mistakes? Also, should I remove the burnt leaves or keep them there? Because there is green leaves being created from the semi burnt ones because it is at proper temperature and humidity now. Please save my dear sweetheart. I have put so much work into her. Thank you very much. Happy toking. bongsmilie

Anybody out there? I gave the best description I could. What should I do? Pull of the dead leaves? Foliar feeding? Water more often? Any help?

dude the leaves that are damaged are damaged. If you can pull it off, since it so early into flower you should pull 2 branches and clone.

Just feed regularly and water regularly. Anything you try to do at this point will on exacerbate the issues. Think like a burned human, if you started dumping water or other crazy shit, would it regenerate the burned tissue?

Plants and animals behave very much the same way for the most part. Living tissue is living tissue and while the specifics may be different, life ultimately demands a few simple things from everything.

Good luck

I was just hoping for a miracle cure, but plants have very unique properties that don't always parallel animals. The plant itself still hasn't budded yet. Are fan leaves very important to the budding process or are they irrelevant?

All leaves are important during flowering , and veg. I would not remove any leaves. Also, I would consider cloning your plant and hoping for the best.

yea looks like heat stress an really stretched. when buds start to produce that thing is gunna fall over. well as its so far into flower its hard to say wat to do. but i dont see why it cant survive with good venilation. it might need tide up soon also

It may looked stretched out in the picture, but it is misleading. The stem at the bottom is VERY sturdy and strong. It will not fall over when budding. It just may take awhile to heal it's burns and produce new leaves(which it is doing). It has been a little less than 2 weeks so I don't know how that is too far into the flowering process... Isn't flowering in the range of 8-12 weeks depending on the strain? You guys tell me. :blsmoke:

The leaves in the picture. There are some ones that are more severe than that as well. There is however some green and some growth in those leaves in the past few days. My question is this, would it be more productive to take off the semi dead leaves and let the plant heal or just leave them there and let it do what it does itself? (The plant is doing really well now with a lot of new growth everywhere)

bump.......

dude I already told you, leave it alone, clone some new ones in case this one doesnt yeild the proper amount or keep this thing vegging until it heals itself.

Most of the damaged leaves are going to stay on the plant, if you veg it longer it will grow new ones to help. If you dont, dont take them off. the leaves still work if they are green on half of it.

No one wants to answer what has already been answered.

Ok, I am just very worried about the situation, but it seems the "weed" is doing as it's name. Growing again like a weed. I think she will be fine. I took 3 clones as well from the bottom branches that don't get light anyways. =)

The plant is doing really well. Lots of leaves have been created and buds are starting to form all around the plant. I am just curious. How much influence would a VERY small light leak equivalent to about three times the intensity of the moon effect the plant? Does this reduce THC production by a significant amount? I am sealing it up tomorrow, but I was just curious. :bigjoint:

light leaks most commonly cause hermaphrodism which in turn i spose will mean less thc since it will self polinate and start growing seeds instead of thc

Even after it has showed it's sex? I know hermies can happen, but there is still some light in nature too. So how could a small amount damage it that much?

dude seriously, you need to buy some books. You cant come on here and expect everyone to want to jump in and hold your hand for a lot of the little things.

Just relax and do your thing, if something bad happens, who cares? This is how you learn. Failure is nothing more than a learning tool, it teaches you what not to do next time.

First off, did you not read that this is the marijuana plant PROBLEMS forum? Not the bitch at people for asking questions forum. I have read more books on marijuana than you think. The reason I have asked certain questions is because these are condition specific. Most marijuana books tell you WHAT to do. Most of them don't tell you what to do when you fuck up because they think you will do the correct thing. But seeing how life is complex and every single persons conditions are unique. They cannot address EVERY single possible solution to EVERY single problem. Plus, if I don't know the problem, how will I learn from the mistakes I don't even know? Growing is a long process. I don't have the time to fuck up and then learn from my mistakes everytime. I am on here to correct every mistake I can make and make sure I have the highest yield and potency. I just want to get high more often with more sticky potent BUD! :weed:
Now please tell me the crime in that? :bigjoint:
