main stem snapped

the main stem snapped right above the first two leaves and under the first set of fan leaves and is about 5 weeks old,can i cut the stem and replant the same way i would a clone to try and save it?:eyesmoke:

no your better off splinting her. i have broke many limb off and just put them back together and they mended in about a week.

My main stem on a clone broke in half right in the middle, i just wrapped foil around it and tied it to a stick. it eventually will heal...but Im not sure if foil was a good idea...either way it healed.

As long as the leaves beyong the snap don't wilt it will be fine. I have been know to break main stems as a form of lst.

they well hell. but instead of foil use tapeand let the broken part be exosed to the air. in a week or two you can take the splint off. goodluck
