main stem slightly bent during move

hey ladies and gents,

moved my plants last night and bent the main stem ever so slightly. it seeped a bit of water so im guessing the vessel pressure burst the stalk ever so slightly. It almost looks like a stalk after being super cropped (slightly darker green, but still pretty strong and stiff). It wouldn't have phased me in the slightest but before lights out I checked that it was the only plant whose leaves hadn't perked up as typical as during a light cycle. I'm guessing I damaged the plant's water veins.

Is something like this permanent? Will it repair the veins and be OK or is the plant gone? How long would the recovery be if it isn't dead (i.e. when should I trash it?). I was going to treat it as an experiment to see how it goes (surely animals bend plants in the wild and they recover?

Thanks for any info

The marijuana plant is incredibly resilient. I have had major damage to a branch at least twice, and after taping or securing and a liberal misting, they survived both times.

Hey d, just a thought.....I try to only interact with my girls just before watering. They are a lot less turgid at this time.
Good luck & good grow.......BB

No big deal, I do it all the time when I mix indica and sativa in the same grow, will heal and be very strong at that point.

Not fer nuttin,, earlier is usually better before you bend (LST, etc/). Fluids drain in dark (reverse osmosis(sp) or some such, and before watering. They're more flexable to gentle training (bending) I've found.

Just a thought from seen things.

actually, it's not a bad thing if your in veg..it will grow out instead of up for a while..some growers do this as a way to keep it from growing too tall (esp).. a sativa plant..it won't harm the plant as long as you don't over do it..
