I have a plant that is about 90 days old and I have the curling leaf tip syndrome. The tips are curling up and are brown. Now I'm pretty sure it is a magnesium def. so I started feeding it Mag. sulfate in the form of Epsom salts. I started with a small amount, 1/3 a teaspoon per gallon and now have moved to a tlsp per gallon and my tips are still turning up. Is this a form of salt lock?? Or is there something else I am missing? HELP PLEASE!! She is 13 inches tall and about a week in to flowering. I topped it above the 8th node last week. I have lost 3 nodes of leaves on the bottom and dont wanna loose any more.
Thanks for any help....

Your plant may not be able to take up mg right now because of a lockout from pH or another nutrient in excess. Try foliar spraying with 1/2 tsp/32oz epsom salts. add a couple drops of dishwashing liquid and thoroughly spray your foliage. The problem should get stop getting worse in a few days.

You are NOT foliar feeding if you are just spraying with bottled water. What do you think that is accomplishing?

The soap lowers the surface tension of the solution, so that instead of beads forming on your leaves ( which can be lenses that focus your light and burn spots onto your leaves) the solution coats every portion of the leaves and can be absorbed faster, before it evaporates.

If you don't think my advice is useful, then good luck.:peace::evil::peace:

Thanks gent,

Of all the information I have ever this was a first for me, thank you!! I never knew about the soap portion, this may be why I have been having issues as you stated, I will try this asap. I will change over my bottle tonite and give it a go, will try to let you know in a week or so to let you know what happens and she reacts. Is there any soap that would be a bad idea, (ex.) one that has lavender in it or apple, mango or some kind of strange additive?? Thank You in advance....
And I really do appreciate the help...
Cheers, Gimpy!!
