Thsi shit is for real in Italy. My Wife was born in Naples. She still has a lot of family there including an uncle up north that used to be a jocky. He owned a some large stables on his estate where he had boarded race horses. He was keeping a few horses the Mafia did not want to run in race last year against there horses so they burnt down the entire stable. Killed a dozen race horses. Actually made the new here on cnn and fox. Happend just before Christams last year.
