Mad Scientist!

Out of complete curiosity, I found the ugliest, cheapest, most headache inducing Mexican brick weed, and grew a few ladies from the seeds that came with it. Rock hard buds, a good sativa "up" high and has a nice flavor. A good one to smoke when you have stuff to do that day. Kinda goes to show you, that with some good dirt, a lot of light, and a little love, you can do wonders:) Here's some pictures before I harvested a week ago

This story reminds me of what so friends did with what they called Sugar Momma. It was a Mexican seed that they grew out nicely. They then used it mainly as a breeding strain, as it was a large yielder.

Yeah, they do have a good yield. The inter-nodal spacing reminded me of a chocolate thai I grew once. What really blew me away, was the density of the buds. Hardest I've ever seen. Like boulders.

This is a pretty awesome experiment! Way to go, man!

Thanks, man:) I've always wondered why brick weed was so bad. Now I know, it's not the strain as much as how it's cared for, how it's dried and how little love it gets.

A lot of top grade strains such as AK47 can attribute there danky profile to an infusion of Mexican genetics in their pedigrees. I didn't even know Mexican herb came to Oregon still as I haven't seen any in 10yrs+ anyway cool grow man

No doubt.....haha. Last time I had Mexican weed was in Mexico....lol. I was at a wedding down there, and there was ONE person at the wedding that managed to get some dank down there (I think they smuggled it in with them), but I made good friends with that lady holding the green.....haha. Lots of fun down there...if you have never gotten table service at a Mexican bar for a bottle of Tequila, it can be a blast. Basically a drinking concierge! Sorry to go off subject, but I thought it fit the thread! Hope everyone has a great day!

I know someone who buys it out of Yakima. Looks like a loaf of ugly bread. She actually uses a knife to cut off a slice to weigh it up. LOL. Total classic brick weed. But, Breeder, you're right. It's hard to find anymore. When I was a kid, that's all I could get, and now, I had to go looking for it. Oregon: where it's hard to find bad weed:)
