Lux for Vegging?

Hey guys.
I read somewhere that during veg you want Lux to be between 40k-65k.
Can anyone confirm this?

Please dont bother talking about par vs. lux.

Just have Lux to go off of now so any advice welcome.

Lux or Lu even lumen is the same as 1 btu /british thermal unit or 1 candle in a 12 inch box#

hence give her shit loads as much as you can without cooking her

keep a temp close and a small pc fan closer

I think 65k lux is at the upper end, you may want to add CO2 if using that much light. Still, 40k is a lot of light, and if you can get that much evenly spread your plants will thrive.

My 150 watt quantum board has more lux than my 250 watt hps,

40k-65k is too much for veg. Some very good info here.

early vegging: ~15.000lx (220/240μMol/s/m² PPFD)
late vegging: ~25.000lx(360/400μMol/s/m² PPFD)
flowering: ~ 40.000-50.000lx(580/645 - 725/800μMol/s/m² PPFD)

buy a hps and dont worry about lux
