glad to have you aboard. seems like your lurking has learnt you pretty good. lol

what is the policy with Maine and home growers? are they pretty relaxed with plant counts?

ugh.....the long......(there was a link here to ME laws im too noob to post links)

TLDR- per adult 21 yrs n older in a house- 3 in flower 12 in veg unlimited clones and seedlings. The above doc is literally 20 pages of fkn kill me please but it is super detailed, pretty sure they brought in a guy from Col or Cali to help write the laws here? We voted for 6 in flower and the gov knocked it down to 3, they are working on the Rec sales laws( tax rates to bleed us) before it goes "live".
And yes my moms have been brutalized lol. Im gonna fix em up and give them to friends to grow outdoors this summer.

Here we go.....
§2452. Personal use of marijuana 1. Person 21 years of age or older. A person 21 years of age or older may: A. Use, possess or transport marijuana accessories and up to 2 1/2 ounces of prepared marijuana; B. Possess, grow, cultivate, process or transport up to 3 flowering marijuana plants, 12 immature plants and unlimited seedlings, and possess all the marijuana produced by the plants at the adult's residence; D. Purchase up to 2 1/2 ounces of retail marijuana and marijuana accessories from a retail marijuana store; and E. Purchase up to 12 seedlings or immature plants from a retail marijuana cultivation facility.

B. A person who elects to cultivate marijuana shall ensure the marijuana is not visible from a public way without the use of binoculars, aircraft or other optical aids and shall take reasonable precautions to prevent unauthorized access by a person under 21 years of age. 3. Legible tag on each marijuana plant. A person 21 years of age or older must have a legible tag on each marijuana plant. The tag must include at least the person's name and Maine driver's license number or Maine identification number. 4. Exemptions. The following exemptions apply. A. Marijuana cultivation for medical use is not considered cultivation for personal use under this chapter and is governed by Title 22, section 2423-A. B. This section does not apply to cultivation by a registered dispensary licensed pursuant to Title 22, section 2428. 5. Use. A person may consume marijuana in a nonpublic place including a private residence. A. The prohibitions and limitations on smoking tobacco products in specified areas in Title 22, chapters 262 and 263 apply to smoking marijuana. B. A person who smokes marijuana in a public place other than as governed by Title 22, chapters 262 and 263 commits a civil violation for which a fine of not more than $100 may be adjudged. C. This subsection may not be construed to shield any adult from federal prosecution. D. This subsection may not be construed to allow any adult to possess or consume marijuana on federal property.

These are the main laws that apply to the personal user and grower of cannabis in Maine

heres a more recent pic of the NY47 and a few smaller moms that got tossed into flower, Opium, White widow and Blueberry Gum.
ny47.jpg 40ish days o flower, this thing stinks to high hell when the lights warm up lol

Final home for the Sour Am's.(20 gal insulated Coleman prolly hold 15) Will probably plumb in a T fitting into the drain spout for a sight tube on the vert and debating runnin pipe to a 5 gal res. By the time these two girls get big I won't be lifting the lid except to check roots, and after the scrog its a pain and all set risking breakage.

Looking beautiful, always happy to have another grower aboard the RIU train. :) One question I have, how do you manage your res changes using that metal screen/scrog you have there? Or is the flowering plant you have under it in soil? I've been dieing to try Scrog for awhile now, but I come into conflict with res changes. In the summer time, I cannot afford to have my buckets off of the cold concrete floor due to res temps or I'd just elevate them and put a drain valve on each bucket. Have been experimenting with how to do an individual scrog attatched to the netpot's lid, but I really haven't had a lot of luck. Thanks for sharing your grow, will be happy to observe as they develop!

are these 5 gal buckets?

drill a hole in top of bucket lid, insert a piece of pvc pipe into it so it sticks out the top a few inches and hook a wet/dry vac to the pvc pipe. it will suck all the water out from the bottom and should keep the roots safe too. you could even put a 90 on the top of the pvc to make it easier to hook up the vacuum.

Yes Rky they are standalone 5 gallon buckets, I really like that idea, thanks Rky! Even for someone like me who isn't a very 'DIY' type, this should be pretty do-able!
