Lumatek Digital Ballast Vs. Galaxy Digital Ballast

Just curious what everyones thoughts were on these ballasts. Im in the market for a 1000w digital and I'm not sure which direction to go. Any suggestions or comments are appreciated.

I want to use a cool tube to keep temps down in my tent, I was thinking the lumatek would be a good choice cause I can always turn it down to 600 if need be. I was at the hydro shop and they said the galaxy was cheaper and I was wondering what the major difference was between the two and which one you guys use. Check my sig please, much appreciated

lumatek has a good name, I have never heard of Galaxy, check out the warranty and replacement cost, that will tell you alot.

Why 1000? if heat is a problem go with 2-600 or 3-400. I have 2-400's and use them when needed and usually just have one going unless I have mroe than 4 plants in 12.12

I have a galaxy 1500. Works fine no prob. I think both of them are good ballasts. Galaxy is made by Sunlight supply. I'm using the magnum xxxl ocho with it and cooling is not an issue.
