you can stay pretty anonymous on instagram if you want. It's actually a really good place for weed, the led scene on insta is thriving. The thing i really enjoy most about the weed scene there is all the live streams people like Growmau5, greengenes and many others do - its great to hang out and and chat in real time with everyone. come check it out, man! you'll recognise lots of people from RIU. Rule #1 on the internet, don't get attached to anything. There is no longer an intelligence requirement to participate in internet discussions like there was 20, 30 years ago so all the riff raff that have jumped on think they are all rock stars.

Yeah that is why I don't go into 'schooling clowns' mode until I get directly insulted by someone like weitefras or some other newbie without a clue. After that the bell has rung and the match begins. I claim victory when the site admins get sick of the whining from the riff raff (glad you liked that, lovely old school term) and get banned. For me that is equivalent to a victory by knockout.

Well I was polite and gave him the heads up to cool down in the intensity thread but he blew right past that. It is there for all to see.
Even that newbie without a PAR meter I was nice to at the start. Then he started stating theoretical numbers as factual and went off the deep end when I corrected him. One of the more funny parts was him claiming that his dad is a prof at MIT, as if that would mean anything.
It doesn't matter, the game has been played out many times in the past and I expect no different a result in this one.

P&D/manipulation is totally an issue. its something ive been digging into - its not new, in any market. Crypto just gets more legs now because obvs it blew up. mass FOMO and that whole 20k per BTC madness...was a crazy ride!
But yeah, P&D is a thing and its a big problem with the lower market cap alt coins because theyre more easily manipulated. it's not good but i find that kind of thing super interesting.
the bcash P&D was as equally impressive and famous as it was wrong and insane. lots of newbs are getting horridly played by that particular coin and a cartel of pricks and its pretty disgusting. its actually wrecked the crypto community on reddit and in forums in general, compared to how it was when it was jus people interested in the tech and not the value, those were the best times. when satoshi was still posting and it was all about the opportunities btc gave to people all over the world.
