The money I was expecting to hit my account today didn't appear and won't until Tuesday so I have to wait until then. Bit annoying but I can wait an extra few days. Was planning to get the HLG-240H-C2100A with the dimmer you adjust with a screwdriver.

Got 3 plants in veg under my blurples and they won't be ready to flip for another 3-4 weeks I think. Still, next week they'll have a couple of 3000k strips to help them along.

sounds like youve got it all sorted. those meanwells are sweet! what you got in veg? my memory is terrible!

Yeah I think so. I've got some ali angle and I'll order some wire when I order the strips/driver.
In veg are 3 Killer Kush. Gonna veg 3 of the Fire 99 that you gave me whilst the KK's are flowering.

Meant to say...I'm planning a cheapo trip to get stoned for a couple of days. The Dam or Barca but not sure how it is in Barca in terms of buying weed. Any thoughts/suggestions? The Dam is fucking cold this time of year but it's warm inside the coffee shops....

I can't comment on Barroca but I was in the Dam last October and it iscleaning up its act ,
in my opinion anyway.
I've been there several times over the years but this last one was strange.
Our rendezvous point was Stones by the old Kirk over the years and there used to be a right few wee shops where you could get smoke within 5 mins of it but they weren't there.
Used to get nice cakes too in babas on the corner- cafe restaurant now and the grasshopper staff looked at me as if I'd two heads when I asked do you still do weed lol.
I got some smashing trainwreck haze in a shop 2 mins front the grasshopper.
I'm not sayn that there are not other establishments that you probably know of tho, just my experience.

Nice one, cheers bro. I lived in A'dam for 12 months and tried a lot of shops. That was 20 years ago tho. I've been back a couple of times but not for 8 years!

Barca > Dam. like moflow says, dam isnt all that anymore. Its nowhere near as fun as it used to be. Still absolutely gorgeous though.

Flipped the space monkeys, cant remember if i said and cant be arsed to check. They look a bit mag def, think it was the cold temps while i was curing the big tent. Turned everything up now

nah swear its cheaper than that, think i paid 20. its more low key than dam, the police dont like it too much. Just send the club a message asking for an invite via email or facebook usually. Or go to dam...flights are probs cheaper and make up for the rip off prices!! nice weed either way

Another thing mate, have you thought about buying the RapidLED/Growmau5 far red puck? Think I'm going to give it a try. $29 + $13.50 shipping + poss. import duty won't be too much and if Mau5 is involved we know it won't be a bs product. 1 puck per 3x3 apparently so my 4x2 is perfect for 1.

Oh yeah, I'm also adding Triacontanol to my arsenal along with the Mammoth P I have. Looking forward to getting this all up and running in the next week/10 days! :)

What's peoples thoughts on the Emerson effect and how it relates to Canna? I'm thinking that the fact it is Canna is irrelevant. In terms of deploying far red in the grow space? Is it a simple case of mimicking sunset and sunrise....so FR would be the last light the plants "see" at night and the first at daybreak?

Lol the chocolate strain! ive got a chocolope freebie in the fridge somewhere, thats meant be nice. Im putting up two more flowering 4x8's next year....i'll try and run it then - so many bloody seeds!

The far red trick is summin i wanna try. There are people here using it with great affect, seems to reduce flowering time. What i wanna know is if yields are lower or not? havent found a straight answer, i havent looked very hard though.
