It's my journal here, I kind of put this up just to keep an idea of where I'm at and to also put more logs out there for Lucky13, there isn't a lot of them out there, so I thought I'd put one out and we can see how some of their strains do. Feel free to post whatever, I enjoy seeing others work.
OK cool. Just went back and looked at the whole thread from the start. Ottawa area myself :blsmoke:

Looking back they are growing at a decent pace.. I think they might like the soil mix, I've already started to top dress with Gaia Green 4-4-4, Gaia Green 2-8-4, bunny poop, eggshell powder, alfalfa pellets..

Next top dressing I'll add bat guano, blackstrap molasses tea and if needed a dash of epsom salt.

Here is Dirty Dancing on June 6th

How long did you veg the Frostberry before you put her outside?
Frostberry and OkeGrape both started from seed very early May. Went outside by end of May. I've been feeding MegaCrop lightly and watering half a pail per plant on days it doesn't rain. The bud will be good but there is a lot of white on leaves as well.

BTW every single seed I planted from Lucky 13 this year grew and I got 1 male out of 8 seeds.

So that's where my females went! lol. Your ladies look wonderful and healthy, cant wait to see how they finish.. I was thinking if I ran that Frostberry I would start her indoors around November with a 24/0 cycle and then toss her out in May, this should give her enough time to spread her roots and we can see how big she gets.

You also look like you have your nutrient line dialed in, I don't even see burnt tips, she should finish nicely

I usually throw a few teaspoons MegaCrop in the bottom of the pail unmeasured before I fill up a pail with water. The plants are liking it although purple Frostberry does have a couple burnt leaves. They're so dark a green you can't see it easily. There are places in the leaves that started to turn black. Black leaves with the purple bud would be a nice show :-).

I'll probably get my turn and find the males next year.

If you're looking for big Frostberry wouldn't be my strain of choice. This is an early pic of the grow with the 2 Frostberries on the left. They were topped twice and put up very stiff stalks with almost waxy leaves. The left most grape version never even made the top of the cage (42 inches). They will be good and early with sleep in the middle smells wafting off them all the way through.

I'm happy with how the Pineapple Poundcake turned out (again). This isn't all I got off the plant but it gives an idea what it looks like.

How long does that Pineapple poundcake take to mature?
I cut this one early since I did the same last year. A lady that has nausea finds this strain settles her down like no other strain she's tried. I cut early because of canoeing on the leaves last year and I'm hoping to get the same results for her (which means cutting early this year).

It's an 8 week expected but the buds either side of my arm shot are about 6 weeks from noticable flower. I planted 2 in case of males and the second one is going to go longer. Below is a pic of what she looks like today.

I picked up a bubble hash machine this year. It should be interesting.

I just got back from the grow shop, I had to get another top up on some Gaia Green.. I ended up getting a 20kg bag of All Purpose and a 20kg bag of Power Bloom, I am also an old customer of this shop and they went ahead and took off the taxes, gave me a 10% discount and also gave me a bag of Bokashi.. I will be top dressing with Bokashi soon..

Hopefully this will be the last round of Gaia Green "this makes 80kg's of Gaia Green this year" and I will be good to go til the end..

Weather is starting to cool down. We had an 11 degree night but the usual is 15-19 C range.

3 out of 4 plants blooming still. The tallest plant is the one that's still stretching. The 42 inch high fence is a good reference. The 2 front plants are the Frostberry. The 2 bigger ones in the back are Okanagan Grape.

DSC07673a.jpg

The short purple bud is Frostberry. It's been in flower about 5 weeks now. There's a lot of frost developing on leaves.

DSC07672a.jpg

The second Frostberry grew white instead of purple. A little bit bigger but the structure and frostiness are still there.

DSC07675a.jpg

The Okanagan Grape in flower has a lot of leaves and a lot of buds. The buds are growing slowly so it will take longer to grow. Some wonderful kush smells but I'm not getting any grape.

They are coming along nicely I see, cant wait to see how they finish up.

I will get a full update on mine this next week, I do not have access to camera at the moment, my wife took it to the cottage.

The Dirty Dancing is still growing insane like, she is pushing over 8ft tall, just as wide and no signs of slowing.. The 2nd Dirty Dancing pheno that was a bit smaller has started to hit her flex lately and she has caught up to the other Dirty Dancing, both are enormous plants and they still have a ways to go.

No signs of flowering on anything yet, hopefully they will start soon.

The Roadkill OG is also hitting her stride, she is pushing over 7ft, just as wide and growing by the day.

At this pace it could be a pretty busy year going forward.

I hope things start blooming for you soon. The days are getting noticeably shorter.

I'm planning next years grow and for outside I'll try the Green Dragon which is Green Crack x Peanut Butter Herijuana and the Deep Kill which is a remake of the RKS. They won't be as early as what I planted this year so I'll need more patience  .

I know I am really liking the Roadkill OG so far, I would take a clone but Im not trying to veg her out until next May before putting her outside, I would buy this strain again tho from what I see at this point, the ending will really determine that. GDP I also am enjoying the smells and she seems pretty easy to grow so far..

Next year I am looking at growing Pineapple Poundcake, another round of GDP and we will see what I do for another OG.

There were a couple dead leaves that turned brown and crispy on one of the white Frostberry buds. The branch got chopped and the bud trimmed. The pic shows what it looked like when checked.

One of the Okanagan Grapes is really big now but doesn't have a gram of bud on it. I expect it will be an 8 foot ball with next to nothing on it at the end of the season.

I hope those 2 finish out nice for you, I was kind of wanting to run those next year but Im not sure yet..

The ones Im running this year are all bushing out still, no flowering yet but they are starting to get that look to them..

I hit them with Doktor Doom's Premium 3-1 spray tonight as a preventive measure against these sap sucking feks this year..

It seems this year I have had to spray a lot more then usual, but I am staying on top of it. .

The Roadkill OG's are impressive, big stalks, big branches, should produce big nugs.. She is over 8ft tall, just as wide and she will stack heavy from the way she's looking..

The GDP is still moving along, this one veg's slower then all the others but Im hoping she still finishes out nice..

THe Island Sweet Skunk is also starting to fill in, for starting her so late she is still looking like she may turn out okay..

The Dirty Dancing is feking insanity X's2.. It's starting to reach for the stars and Im not sure what to do with her at this point.. She's over 9ft, still climbing and towers well over my head.. The smells are still amazing but Im nervous about her finish times..

I will do my best to get pics tomorrow, I tried tonight but I got busy with the Romaine lettuce I just planted..

So far tho I am happy with the Lucky13 I have and I hope they finish out just as strong.

Here is a quick little update, its been a busy week to say the least..

I started off last Friday with a Purecrop spray, Sunday I top dressed with Gaia 4-4-4, Gaia 2-8-4, and some bat guano, 4-26-1, I did not give them a lot of the guano, 1/2 a cup per bed, just enough for trace elements and the extra "P".

I spayed them again yesterday with Doktor Doom's Premium 3-1, so far no ill affects and they look happy this morning.. These sap sucking bugs this year are trying to be a pain in the ass, Im heavily on top of them and hopefully with the weather change it will help run some of these bugs away..

Dirty Dancing: This strain is absolutely nuts, the smells on her have stayed consistent throughout "tropical hints of Hawaii" and she is still growing crazy.. If she finishes in time and doesn't have any issues I will run this strain again for sure..
20220816_113329.jpg
20220816_113234.jpg

Roadkill OG: This strain is a straight beast so far as well, the smells on her are very sour/skunk, with a hint of fruit on the backside. I am really liking this strain, if she runs stable I will be mad that I didn't take a cut and I will get this strain again..
20220816_113124.jpg
20220816_113430.jpg

Island Sweet Skunk: She is starting to fill in, it's hard to say how big she will finish out, she did get a later start then the others. The smells I get from her are for sure skunky, every time I walk by this plant I smell skunk.. I am going to run the SpaceSkunk next year and start them earlier.
20220816_113156.jpg

GDP: This strain veg's very slow but so far I am still enjoying what Im seeing from her.. The smells are skunky/grape as expected, I am expecting her to taste just like the Purple Urkle cross I ran years back.

Still more to go, but so far I am enjoying the Lucky 13's I have and I hope they finish out strong..

I will try to get an another update as soon as I can, I have a lot going on this year with other crops as well.. My fruit and veggie garden is really starting to come together as well..

You have BEASTS ! I hope they finish out strong too.

The 3 plants I'm growing that are producing bud now all have similar leaf shapes. The no bud plant leaves are different than the one with no bud. The 3 plants with buds have a lot of 3 and 5 section leafs near the top of the stalk.

The Okanagan Grape plants are a real trim jail special and would need a lot of trimming to get the buds out. The OG plant grew buds for a while then they stopped getting bigger. I won't likely grow the strain again especially when the Frostberry is what it is.
