So I'm going to try the maxibloom Lucas formula and a couple of my girls. My question is what is the the application rate? Do feed with every watering? Every other watering, or is it water, water, feed? Im also planning on using a pro-mix for the meduim. Also do I have to flush periodically or so just the last 10-14 days?

Is there such a thing as Maxibloom Lucas ? Do U have links anywhere on this? Lucas to me is the act of using GH Floramicro and bloom at a rate of 8ml/gal and 16ml/gal of micro/bloom respectivly. How can Maxibloom be Lucas formula.? I know Nova is 1-2-2 with humus.

ok, so when subsequent products come out from GH or anyone else, they will be have the Lucas name attached to signify the Lucas NPK of 1-2-2? My understanding was the "LUCAS" formula was the act of using GH Micro/bloom @ 8/16 as a simple way of using GH without the grow bottle and obtaining adequate amounts of cal/mag for MJ without supplementation. IMO the lucas formula term has been bastardized.

Okay, but after all that, I still dont know what the feeding schedule is. So if anyone has an answer to that question, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

do you have a ppm/ec meter?..
No, and I know I should probably get one but till then I plan on running 7g of maxibloom per gallon. I'm just wondering how often do I feed, and if I need to flush periodically or just at the end of flower. Right now my day to day schedual is feed, nothing, water, nothing, feed, nothing, water......and so on. All I've ever used is organics and that schedule has always worked for me. I just don't know how synthetics work.

are you in soil or coco. if soil your doin fine. if coco you should feed more often.. you should get a cheap ppm pen cause they will want more or less with time. maxi bloom is hard to get right with no meter

OK sorry for the rant. I use a general rule: In Soilless: 50% recommended hydro dose that's on the package. Feed Feed water. Any overdose noticed, back off .1 EC. IMO. Works for me in Pro-Mix.

my coco goes to shit if I don't add cal-mag every water or feed... maybe 'cuz I got tap water with a ppm around 60, not enough minerals?

and my two cents... I agree the term "Lucas Formula" has been way over-used.

When using maxibloom u need to feed, water, then feed again! This is to insure that there wont be any nute or salt build up. I feed maxi bloom at one table spoon a gal, add humic acid, and molasses. Then when i water i add molasses, B52, and potassium silcate. Always check ur run off ppms and ph!!
