LST question ?

I just tied down my 8 main branches and removed a lot of leaves blocking light to the little shoots,

Should I top the 8 main branches I tied down to promote growth to all the middle shoots or would they grow up naturally now it’s tied down?

I want all those shoots to come up even through the middle and then I’ll put into flower. Thanks in advance

Generally defoliation isn't required outdoors due to the amount of light. If that is an indoor plant, taking it outside is asking, begging for pests.

Tied down the nodes will pop, it's called super cropping so no need to top them.

Renfro is right, no need to top them. If you keep holding/tying down the main branches level/even, the inner nodes will soon be taller.

I could be wrong, but it looks like maybe your container you are growing in slopes upwards on both ends where the handles are. If you are tying the plant to the sides of the container it might create a little more work to achieve an even canopy....maybe a small scrog to hold everything even till all of your nodes fill in would help...

Thanks for the reply mate, it’s outdoors atm but being in Aus the days are getting shorter so I bring it in for some light once it gets dark to keep it in Veg , I’ll be flowering it indoors under my LEDs once those shoots grow up, so far no pests but I’ll be sure to keep on top of that if any show up before flower

Thanks for the reply mate, your right it does slope, I never thought of that I just drilled holes around the sides to tie it down, I’ll drill some more holes in it later today and retie it down to make it more even.
