Just need to be sure she'll be OK.. I tend to think she'll be just fine since it's kind of like topping her... ehh I think.. opinions?

Cutting a plant is perfectly fine. Many plants (Moms) are grown solely for this purpose. Within a week or so, your plant will begin to divert hormones to other branches and make the other branches bigger and stronger than if you hadn't chopped a branch off. Topping is also a common practice that is done before flowering a plant in order to get two large top colas instead of one huge cola.

Hey bro, you'll be fine, just like topping. I did the same thing this grow in an EPIC FAIL at LST. Snapped it right in half. Grew just like it was topped and it's all good.

she will bounce back like nothing happened. plus youll get more growth in the injured area.

yeah like everyone said it will be fine just be a little more careful when your tying down branches next time
