LSD strain

Some beans are old and get really hard. They require “scuffing” for better survival rates. I recently had a cali connection 818 headband sit in water for nearly a week. No signs of life. I took a knife to it and scuffed off the entire exterior. The next day she had a healthy tap root

The outside of the bean was so hard water couldn’t penetrate it. It basically just sat in water doing absolutely nothing until I scraped everything off. Then like magic, the next day there was a giant tap root. I almost wrote it off

I grew some Barneys LSD about 12 or 13 years ago. Give her the time to finish properly and she is some pretty good smoke. One thing I do remember about her though, very prone to bananas in mid to late flower. One plant I had was better than the others, I sprouted 10. Still the "better" plant would throw a few nanners in the later part of flower making her difficult to finish out without fear of immature seeds. Myself and others noted that this weed makes you "see things", not like visuals but think you see something out of the corner of your eye type stuff. The pheno I ran for several cycles made some pretty dense and frosty nugs if you gave her a good 70 - 75 days of 12/12.

Yeah I grew the Barney's LSD about 4 years ago and the plant was definitely different.

Years ago a guy called OldGrowerDude, (who is a member here but not active), I met on another forum and used to Skype with lived in Texas at the time and crossed L.S.D. with DJ Short's Blueberry and called it Lone Star Blue Heaven. Anyways he sent me a dozen seeds and it had a really nice pheno the was done in 51 - 55 days and grew really nice phat colas. Just killer medicine for me. The LSD has Mazar in it and that particular strain works really well for my depression. Got to try the few seeds I have left that I made and still have 4 of the originals but they be getting pretty old now.

This pic is from the last ones I grew in 2016.

This one is dependent of strain source.

I still run a heavy Sativa leaning pheno for a few patients who really like her...

Got it from a friend who has gone through hundreds and hundreds of beans in regular form. He was pheno hunting for the pheno he wanted.
He did a damn good job too.
I like his "cut" over the old Barneys Farms original...... This one has never "thrown a nanner" either...
The barney's did - Way too much!

Your right on it though. Long runner! She can be nutrient fussy too... Likes N and Mg.

Both the LSD and BB my buddy made his cross with came from Barney's but I never had any 'nanners with any I grew and I must have grown a couple dozen. Many from the seeds I made from them. Maybe a bad batch in there somewhere.
