LSD effect duration

Hi all;

From what I've read so far, the effects of LSD start to kick in about 1 hour after absorption, and last around six hours, up to eight.

But I wanted to know your personal experiences about that. How long do your trips usually last?
And to what extent is it related to the dosage? What about 150µg, what about 300?

I once heard somebody say that it can last up until 48 hours, but it seems a bit much.
Or maybe it depends on what effects we are talking about? Maybe the hallucinatory stuff fade out after a few hours, but some other possible effects last longer? You tell me.

Kicks me in 60 minutes, 3rd to 4th hour is the peak.
Lasts 8 to 9 hours with a nice calm effect at the end.

LSD's dosage is 25 micrograms. 300 ?
You've gotta be kidding !

i've never seen any 300 microgram blotters, but im no expert...the highest i've seen is 180-200, and average seems to be 100...

10-12 hours is about right. If your all the way done in 5-6 your not on LSD. If your still flying after 12 hours your not on LSD. If you take a lot your still done in 12 hours. You may feel some "afterglow" until you get a good nap and shower and breakfast but your done tripping. This does not apply to those doing thumbprints but your not them.

10-12 hours total, 1-2 to kick in, an hour to peak, 6-8 of peak, and a few hours of comedown.
Very large doses can be different but for <500ug this is about right.

you guys are lucky to have some around. the only thing i know of around me is i believe LSA. its deffinitly not LSD. its short and kind of like a mushroom high with little visuals

25µg?! I admit I'm a total noob in LSD and I have yet to take my first dose, but 25µg? Is there any effect at such a dose? My understanding is that you need at least 50µg to have any effect, and that common blotters containt aroung 100 or 150µg (but lots of people tell me it's usually less than what's advertised). Anyone to confirm/refute?

300 seems easy to attain, by taking two 150µg blotters at once. That's what was advised to me in another topic anyway.

anything longer than 12 hours is probably an DOx chemical unless you are a large amount of L

No that is not why it's called LSD 25. It's because it was the 25 iteration of amides of lysergic acid that Dr. Hoffman tried.

No, it was the 25th lysergic amide that Hoffmann made. How could the name, assigned 5 years before anyone had ever taken it, be related to it's activity?
And while threshold effects may be felt by the sensitive at 25ug, it certainly ain't tripping. Bear in mind that Bear's doses were about 300ug, and modern blotters average about 100ug and most people eat multiple tabs.

All those years I thought the name means the usual dose in micrograms. Never thought of this one.
