If i can properly store this pollen from the end of june to august ... what are the chances i can make an autoflowering strain with white widow , white rhino , and alaskan ice .. 50/50? or will the auto be 100%? just would like to get some breeding under my belt along with some seeds for future grows .. trying for autos cause ill be heading to college and want a quick flowering ... and with genetics like an auto WW WR or AI i think will be pretty good ... any suggestions or advice? (not much on auto flowering breeding it's too hated and looked down upon, but it's got its benefits)

that exactly what i was wondering. but from what i gathered is that you will get both auto and not auto it all depends on which trait is more dominant.

if you cross LR2 with a non auto strain you will get roughly 50/50 auto/non-auto offspring.

you can then back-breed the auto with the LR2 parent and you should get 100 percent auto offspring.

***just did the research, the auto gene is recessive so if you back-breed the auto offspring with its auto parent you'll get 100 percent auto offspring!

LR2xWW would be killer smoke.

i would love to see LR2xSilver Haze, any of the Arjan's Hazes, SSH, or Neville's Haze.

i think an autoflower haze would be totally kickass.

seriously this is probably an area where even the average joe can put some work in and make some kickass breeds. the auto plants are the future of cannabis i believe, they just need to be refined so they are the quality of non-autos.

think about breeding with foundational strains like Northern Lights, Skunk #1, Haze #1, WW...

the key i would think with breeding autos is to try to incorporate as much of the non-auto genes as possible while retaining the auto-flowering gene, this would require a lot of persistence but i think breeding autos would be easy to do because of the short life-cycle.

so basically you take LR2xWW, back breed with parent LR2 to get all auto offspring.

let that interbreed for a few generations to stabilize it or find a kick ass pheno, isolate it and breed it with another WW.
back-breed again with parent LR2xWW. lather, rinse, repeat.

each time you do this you should minimize the ruderalis genes while retaining the autoflowering characteristic and emphasizing the WW genes.

you'll need to do some thorough examination of offspring including smoking samples to determine smoke quality and high quality and pick only the best phenotypes of each generation to re-breed in order to improve the breed.
