dont use too big of a pot, 2-3 litres is fine for most LR2s, grow a couple out and if youve got good genetics, and they grow above 16-18" try a bigger pot..
Dont overdo the nutes, LRs dont like TOO many nutes..I can personally say that they have responded well to biobizz grow/topmaxx bloom booster and a tsp of molasses throughout my grows...Just build the dosage up slowly, and i tend to go up to a max % of 1/2 recommended dose..
If you dont get any burn on the leaves, maybe try adding a small % more.

I use Grow type ferts from wk3, as they start to show sex around day 17 for males , day 21 for females i will then start to add a diluted % of bloom ferts and reduce the % of grow nutes to around 1/6th recommended dose.
I also add a tsp of molasses to every litre of nutes i mix up..
They should turn out nice n frosty, and with decent sized buds.

LRs are pretty hardy and can withstand a fair amount of abuse without dying, but they can hermie if they get stressed by inconsistent lighting/badly done transplanting etc..
the same as many other strains.

You Dont need to change light schedule...i usually Go to 18/6, as soon as they poke their heads outta the soil..
You might wanna use 24/0 for the first coupla wks to give em a headstart, then go to 18/6 after 10-14 days..
Theyre quite happy with the 6 hrs of darkness.

Get a 30x jewellers loupe from ebay and watch the crystals as they form during flowering, i tend to grow mine out to 65days til theyre 80%+ orange pistils and the trichomes are a mix of cloudy and amber..and it provides a nice smoke, that is quite stoney..
If you want a more uplifting high, harvest when the trichomes are mostly cloudy.

Its quite a short lived buzz in comparison to some of the big players out there, but it still makes for nice sociable homegrown, with fairly decent yields if grown right.

Here's a pic of how mine turn out...

yup its one of my LR2s they got around a wk to go...
Seeds is the only way bro...cant really clone auto's, their life is too short, and they have no veg cycle.

not 100% sure yet will be buying within the next week. but after germinating seeds and planted we have under a flourescent which i have heard is all right as long as kept very close to plant and our pots are alot bigger than your frosty should we definetly change to smaller or do u think it will be alright

like Crazy said, if its cold you'll prolly be best to leave em on..Esp if its a fluoro or cfl grow, as they emit little heat, your grow area will drop in temps pretty quick.
besides cfls use little power, so it wont spank your utility bill.

Depends how much bigger bro.. You dont need like 1gal pots or anything, that way too big or auto dwarf breeds like LR...I have never used anything bigger than 3L for my LR2s..and when they were finished and i junked the soil etc, they'd only used just over 3/4 of the space...
I also figure that if i used 3 x 1gal pots for 3 plants, i could quite easily get 5 LRs in the same area in 3L pots...i havent had any probs thus far.

You dont have to keep buyin seeds, make your own..Germ your existing seeds, if you get a male show around day 17-20 keep it.
Dont leave it in the grow area, put it on a window sill, so you can take the pollen from it once it starts flowering..
It'll grow fine on the window sill, it might shorten the LRs already short life, but it will still flower...Put something like a magazine under the plant (to collect any stray pollen)and when you see its flowers lookin like theyre FAT and kinda like theyre gonna open up, cut them off, give em a light tap, or gently roll the pods in your fingers to they expel the pollen fron the open end. and see if ya can collect a tiny amount of pollen from each of the flower groupings..keep doin it til you collect as much as you can from the plant and store it.(look on here for details on storing pollen)
Then when you have a girl thats just started flowering, using a cotton swab or artists paintbrush, lightly dust some of the lower buds pistils with the males pollen...Let the plant finish flowering,When the trichs say its time to cut,Chop the buds you didnt pollinate, then leave the ones that are pollinated to finish makin seeds..

These will produce seed for your next batch(bear in mind that you will have allow the new seeds to dry and mature for a month or so before you germ them.) and you'll still get some smokable bud from them once you pick the seeds out.

dont use pollen from a hermie plant as you will very likely get hermie seeds, or atleast plants that will turn hermie with very lil stress.

Do a search for articles on pollen collection... There a couple of great threads on here about pollen collection and pollinating flowers..I know FDD is responsible for one of them, called "milking my males" or something(very informative) and i cant remember who did the others...
All you need to know about collecting/storing and using your pollen.

No worries, glad to help..Its a bitch, cuz i'm currently waiting for one of my LR2 males to start flowering properly so i can collect pollen.(gonna try X'ing my East coast sour diesel with LR2 a coupla times)
It already had a bunch of young flowers on, but ive topped it a lil as it was getting to tall for where its living..So its prolly gonna take another week or so before it gets back on track and starts developing the existing flowers a lil more..
If i can i'll post pics of the pods and all that bizz.

yeah when i was waitin on one of my males i trimmed off the bottom three nodes and branches and it put him back about a week. his sacks were easy to tell when they were gunna open though, turned lime green and i could see the whites of the flowers.... i would pluck them before they opened... held them by the "butt" over my jar and rubbed a toothpick back and forth over where the flower opens... i would harvest about 6-8 sacks a day.
