Hey All

heres some pics of the LR at 42 days. The heat problem hasnt seemed to effect her. Its too bad that 5 out 6 were male as this girl smells real skunky and looks so so nice. Starting to get red hairs and the buds are exploding. It seems the liquid karma is making a difference. I figure i'll go 80-85 days, as i look for more of a pain management high, couchlock, and if i let her go long she'll probally get like that. I'll play it by ear, but i cant wait to try it- the waits killing me. I have her back in the 19/5 cabinet with 4 week old LR's. One leaf got toated by the lights, but its no big deal. Heres the pics- let me know what ya think

also- anybody use liquid karma??? How much is enough during flowering, and how much is too much? I've been using 10ml per 1 gal of water...hows that sound?? If anyones got info on this stuff i'd really appriciate it

Molasses is great! A lot of liquid bloom nutrients are basically diluted molasses. I use 1 tablespoon per gallon during flowering, during the last few weeks 'washout' period with great results.

Oh, and I personally wouldn't trim back the fan leaves.. it's a touchy subject... lots of opinions.. trimming fan leaves exposes the buds to more light--yes, but trimming also stunts growth, and the fan leaves are the main energy production center and stores of energy, which the plants will use during the last boost of bud growth (the leaves will turn yellow as the starches are broken down into sugars for incorporation into buds(actively growing parts of the plant)). I'd just wait to trim until you harvest. However, you are bound to get another opinion ;)

hey repvip

Thanks for the advise- i'll start the molassas with tomorrows watering- i can still use the liquid karma, right?? Anyway, i'm counting the days .....

I'd just stick with one product.. the liquid karma is nice, you might as well keep using that rather than risk nute burn...

Molasses is a great, cheap alternative to flowering bloom products, but not sure you really need the alternative...

Harvest Time!!!

I stopped nutes about a week ago- the fan leaves are starting to brown up and get brittle. I have to admit i pinched a bud off last night and dried it in the over until smokble- nice- not harsh and the high was uplifting and clear. So here are the pics right before harvest- what do ya think?? BTW- i planted 3 more lowryders 20 days ago- 2 females so my odds are improving. Also i'm not sure what lowryder this is as it was in the "mixed pack"...any ideas....enjoy...i will

Also i picked up a 400watt hps cool tube and a jardan tent, so no more mini cabinet, except for lowryders every now and then. I just got some auto ak47's from doc so they might be next....anyway its been a blast and i'll post some pics of my 25 day old LR's

I figure yeild was a half, maybe a bit more- wasnt expecting more than that, and in fact i'm happy with the way it turned out. . Drying now and man does it smell nice. I dont have a scale as i grow for pain relief from a broken back. Anyway it was a fun first indoor grow- i have a 12/12 from seed going on now whos journal i've been neglecting. Neville haze x sour nl and afghan kush. I'm gonna update that one tomorrow- all done under t-5's.

Nice! Those look great!

Just wanted to pop in and say I finished a lowryder grow and was pleasently surprised with the smoke--much better than I anticipated. Plenty of trichomes, nice fruity flavor, great combo body/mind high.

All in all I too recommend taking a look at LR#2!
