This is my first time to try to get my plant to produce seeds so I'm wondering what the tricks are. How long should I let them flower to make sure the seeds are usable. Any information on this would be helpful. Again. the plant are autoflowering lowryder #2. Thanks in advance.

keep two males along with your females. I would just let them mature together. With a fan in there you will get like 250-300 seeds. Let them go all the way to 9 wks and then dry and cure normally. you'll be in the good for the whole summer. You could probably do 2 harvests!

you can chop down the male(s) and keep him in a glass of water once he has developed pollen sacs. Then take him and beat him lightly against a glass table. You'll see mounds of pollen. Stick that in a film canister and do selective pollination with a qtip of as many females as you can. That way you have good genetic variation and some sensimilla from each plant which you can compare and contrast for future generations if you want to totally dork out.
Or, just plant them all together and outside nature will take care of everything else. You'll be rolling in seeds.

dont chop at 9 weeks when your seeding lowryder. defintly give them 10-11 weeks. seeds cant get over matured but they can get under matured. If you let the seeds sit for 2 weeks you usually get a 50% germination rate. If you let them sit for 4 weeks you should be close to 100% germination rate. hope this helps you a bit

Assuming we leave males and females into the box and nature does it trick....
Do I get to smoke anything? Or it will be a seed grow only?
