Lowryder #2 Compact Grow

This is my LR2 compact grow, 2 plants in a trash can.
Soil - MG moisture Control
On day 7 currently, heres pics from day 3(I think) and day 7. Popped from shell last friday.

I'm thinking more pics tomorrow haha, such sexy plants. As a note this strain starts to smell early, although not much if you smell the plant it smells like an edible kinda.
 
Maybe you should try to flip the cfl's so theyre horizontal opposed to vertical? I'm fairly certain you'd get a lot more light beaming down at the plants that way because it doesnt dissipate bouncing off the walls and what not. Maybe when they get bigger a little?

Ya man when the plants get a lil taller I planned to flip the lights up instead of lowering the plants down, and probably switch to just 3 42W flowering spectrum lights instead of 2 42w and 2 smaller veg spectrum cfls.
 
Alright guys, heres day 12, they are looking nice. The one with the temp gauge is plant #1.

Going to 18/6 light schedule tomorrow. We shall see how it goes.
 
Lookin real nice. Super short though, it's interesting. You should still tryna keep at least one 6500k bulb in there throughout weeks 4-8 of flower, your resin development will be outstanding with both spectrum's of light.

Ya, internodal distance is like super tiny dude, leaves r growing so fast now, almost growing a set per day. Might use 2 42w and one of the smaller ones then? idk
 
Im going to take pics tonight when lights r back on if I get around to it. Got a test tomorrow so maybe not we will see. If not then I will update tomorrow night.
 
How many watts of CFL u running on those 2? Like zarezhu said, i too recommend getting those light horizontal, and make a reflector, simple aluminium fan tube or something from a hardware store, cut it in half and attach the cfl's on to it; you'll get more growth from the same lights ;-).
 
Very nice, I've been interested in Lowryder myself so I'll definitely subscribe to this journal. Hope'n for the best for ya bro.

And I guess one little question I got, did you order your lowryder seeds online? I've come across a couple of sites but I don't know personally what's good or not.
