I feel pretty confident that the plant needed nutrients, especially since the nutes fixed the problem both times it happened. Also, after doing a lot more research, I discovered that my symptoms were pretty much exactly what describes a nitrogen deficiency.
Anyway, that was a while ago. Those plants have already been harvested and I am smoking that bud right now actually.
I learned a lot along the way, and now have all the right stuff (for one, switched to Fox Farm after those 2 feedings with MG). It was a fun and educational journey, and I'm enjoying the fruits of my labor now!
I've since moved on to hydro after reading more into it. I haven't started my next grow yet, but it will be a 4 or 5-plant Rubbermaid DWC setup, with new lights and all that. I'm playing with a 5-gallon bucket DWC setup right now and have a healthy pepper plant going on its 3rd week. I am having a lot of fun with this one and I'm already starting to get the hang of it. I'll start a grow journal for the Cannabis when the time comes.
