Low temps at night affecting buds?

My day time temps reach 75 f right now, but at night it gets down to about 65 or a tad lower. The exhaust/filtering fan is on 24/7, i know that if this were off at night temps would be higher in the dark.

Will temps of under 65 at night slow down budding? the strains are GreenHouse Seeds El Nino and Arjan's Ultra haze #2The fact that I can keep the temps so low makes me want to get a purple strain now, anyone got a good recommendation?

Letting your room drop more then 10 degrees at night WILL affect your bud by slowing down growth. Good rule of thumb is to keep your room at 75 day and 68-70 night.

Dude I just asked the same question a few days ago. What an experienced grower told me was that your night time temps should be about 15 degrees less than your day time temp. My situation is almost identical to your. My day time temp is 75 degrees, and I was concerned like you are because my nite time temps are at 60degrees. He told me that anything under 50 degrees becomes a risk, but he told me that 60 is right where I need to be at! Ideally you want your night time temps to be between 62 and 70, but whats a few degrees ehh? Your fine!! Hopefully others will convince you that what Iam saying is true...lol...Good day sir!!

from what i know as long as the roots stay warm... your okay, with lower air temp... my room is the same way and i have never had any problems... most plants flower in sept and oct even eary nov... those nights get pretty cold, in nature the first frost is really what finishes them off in their life cycle... so dont hit freezing... LOL

Am I not experienced enough?...Jez i thought 20 years of growing was almost pro level...lmao.

You are correct, however I was trying to give ultimate conditions for him...dropping too cold DOES stunt growth. 50 is too cold in my opinion.

plants just grow slower in colder climates. raise the temp a few and they should take off compared to now. temp is a big factor in the spead of development.
