lost card - oh great

sorry didnt see the other thread when I made this one.....

yep...someone lifted my wallet. Now they have my mmj card too.

LARA website says this:

Question: What if my registry ID card was lost or stolen?
Answer: You would submit a signed statement attesting to the fact that your registry ID card has been lost or stolen (whichever applies) requesting a replacement card. Include your full name clearly written, copy of your identification, and $10.00 check or money order made payable to "State of Michigan-MMMP." Mail the statement and fee to:

So I guess I wait until my new License shows up and mail this in.....

Anyone have any tips....

Copy the paperwork your going to mail in that way you have something to show. Also if you have your original packet, keep that handy

you can still get arrested but thats it, and if they seize your stuff you will get it back.

This is really why the cards are DANGEROUS> now the Theif, has this persons Name, Address, Address/name of any assigned PTs, as well as the ability to now gain any other personal information...

We need to Bring a suit of the Breech of Privacy the cards create.

I havent got my card in 6 months after renewing my certification, so I call them and asked what the status was. So they told me they sent it a while ago so that means someone stole it through the mail or it got lost somehow. Anyway the lady I talked to said she is sending a new one a not to worry. Maybe you should call them before you send them $10 and wasting your time with the mailing process.
