My shipmate and friend was killed when he was accidentally shot in the head with a .45 while assuming his first armed watch aboard USS Cochrane DDG21 on Christmas morning in 1976

2 of them were from my town. That Captains career is pretty much over. Even tho he was probably sleeping when it happened. Navy is weird like that.
That's what leadership is supposed to be like. It's been diluted by corporate America where leaders are never wrong and need more raises.
